We start the week off right with an interesting six-game slate scheduled for tonight. The Utah Jazz, New York Knicks, Memphis Grizzlies, and the Golden State Warriors are all operating on a back-to-back. What makes this slate intriguing is that a lot of the league’s worst defenses play tonight, giving the slate the potential to be a high-scoring one. Tip-off locks at 7 p.m. EST like usual.

Point Guard
Trae Young (PG – ATL): $10,000 vs. GSW
Young has developed into a superstar talent in only his second year in the NBA. The Warriors present a great matchup as they rank 27th in defensive rating and 15th in pace. Young currently ranks 5th in usage rate in the league with his 32.8%. The Hawks also possess the 3rd highest implied total of the night among all teams playing. Young hasn’t scored fewer than 44 FanDuel points in his past five contests.

Tyus Jones (PG – MEM): $4,000 vs. IND
Starting point guard Ja Morant is expected to miss this game due to injury, making Jones a premium low-cost high-upside play. Jones registered 25 minutes of playing time in his last contest, scoring 31.3 FanDuel points. With his price tag near the minimum price, Jones shouldn’t have too much trouble returning value, even if the Indiana Pacers are a tough matchup.
Shooting Guard
Devonte’ Graham (SG – CHA): $7,400 vs. PHO
Graham and the Charlotte Hornets get a decent matchup in the Phoenix Suns, who are 18th in defensive rating and 10th in pace. This contest has the second-highest implied total of the night, trailing only the Knicks and Milwaukee Bucks contest. Graham is a premier scoring option, though he’ll need his minutes to reach the mid-thirties again after only playing 28 minutes in his latest game.
Jeremy Lamb (SG – IND): $6,700 at MEM
All Pacers players are potential plays tonight as the Memphis Grizzlies rank 23rd in defensive rating and 6th in pace, which is why Lamb would be a good choice. Lamb has been solid but unspectacular since returning from an extended absence. Lamb’s playing time gives us a cause for optimism, especially in a pacey environment against a weak defense.
Small Forward
Alec Burks (SF – GSW): $6,200 at ATL
The Golden State Warriors feel like they’re starting fake players at this point, but it doesn’t even matter because they get the 29th-ranked defense in the Atlanta Hawks. Not only are they bad defensively, but the Hawks also present a plus matchup as they rank 12th in pace. Burks is arguably the best player remaining on the Warriors as he’s scored 24+ FanDuel points in four of his past five contests.
Giannis Antetokounmpo (SF – MIL): $12,200 vs. NYK
Not playing Giannis would be a gutty proposition at this point, particularly because he’s the best player on the slate by far. Giannis has scored 51+ FanDuel points in nearly every single game in November, currently operating in a class of his own. The New York Knicks rank 22nd in defensive rating but only 27th in pace. As if all of that wasn’t enough, the Bucks also lead the night in implied total by a decent margin.
Power Forward
Marquese Chriss (PF – GSW): $5,400 at ATL
Chriss doesn’t start for the Warriors in their current state, but he’s been a highly-productive player coming off the bench. His minutes are too low (low 20’s) to really provide many opportunities to explode, but Chriss can stack FanDuel points in a variety of ways, and he benefits from the same amazing matchup as the rest of his teammates. Find some exposure to the Warriors tonight.
Omari Spellman (PF – GSW): $4,400 at ATL
As I said, the Warriors are in a prime spot to surprise people tonight, but they also provide a lot of interesting value plays. Like Chriss, Spellman doesn’t start for the Warriors, but he’s been able to produce coming off the bench, scoring 18+ FanDuel points in six of his past seven contests. Spellman is a cheap way to find exposure to the Warriors.
Center
Robin Lopez (C – MIL): $3,500 vs. NYK
Starting C Brooke Lopez is expected to miss his second-straight contest, giving his brother a great chance to step in as a starter once again. Lopez crushed value in his first start last game as he scored 33.2 FanDuel points. Lopez now gets a weak Knicks defense and will likely draw another start while remaining at the minimum price, giving you a shot to crush value at the center spot on tonight’s slate.
