Sonny Gray (CIN): $10,200 at SEA
Part of me believed that Gray was done after struggling with the Yankees last season but something has clicked with him since putting on a Reds uniform. A 2.75 ERA and 1.10 WHIP for the season tell you everything you need to know and he’s been even better recently. Over his last 13 starts, Gray is pitching to a 1.55 ERA, 0.93 WHIP and 10.6 K/9 rate. Those are simply elite numbers and it makes him very attractive against one of the worst offenses in baseball. In fact, the Mariner rank 21st in OBP, 26th in xwOBA and 28th in K rate.
