FanDuel MLB Lineup Advice: Tuesday (9/24)

There are three games starting before 7ET, so we’re going to go ahead and fade those fixtures. That leaves us with a hefty 12-game slate and that’s really all we can ask for with this being the final Tuesday of the season. There are so many wacky things happening at this time of the season though, so keep an eye on lineups and pitch counts before doing anything!

Noah Syndergaard (NYM): $8,200 vs. MIA
Thor has been one of the most inconsistent pitchers in baseball this season but we love him in a matchup like this. Facing the Marlins is a treat for any pitcher, with Miami ranked bottom-two in runs scored, OBP, OPS and xwOBA. That’s horrible news in a place like Citi Field, with that ballpark surrendering the fewest runs in the league dating back to last season. Before allowing 21 runs across his last five starts, Syndergaard actually had a 1.82 ERA, 0.98 WHIP and 9.1 K/9 rate over his previous eight starts. It’s always tough to predict which Syndergaard will show up but the eight-game spurt appears to be the more likely outcome in such a stellar matchup. Vegas agrees, making Thor a -250 favorite in this game with Miami projected for fewer than four runs.
