FanDuel MLB Lineup Advice: Tuesday (7/30)

With the trade deadline only 24 hours away, we need to monitor all of these moves. Late scratches are a DFS player’s biggest nightmare, and that’s more likely in the next two days than any other time of the season. So, be sure to check all the news before submitting lineups and capitalize on weak lineups who may lose some players.

What’s strange about this slate is the fact that many studs have tough matchups. That’s why we’re going to pick a borderline ace in a fantastic situation. While Thor hasn’t been quite as good as fantasy owners would hope this season, there are still some indicators of brilliance. We’re talking about a guy who has a 2.86 career xFIP and 26.4 percent K rate. Those are some of the best numbers around, and he’s actually scored at least 40 FanDuel points in three-straight starts heading into this matchup. Getting to face the White Sox may be the best part of this play, though, with Chicago ranking 28th in runs scored, 25th in OBP, 27th in OPS, 24th in xwOBA and 23rd in K rate.

I also really like Griffin Canning as a -260 favorite against the putrid Detroit Tigers at just $6,600.
