We’re looking at a smaller slate tonight with just five games on the featured slate on DraftKings. With fewer options, we’ll be looking at one player per position with the exception of the outfield. Let’s dive in.

Pitcher
Jeff Samardzija (SF): $7,200 @ SD
With the limited options tonight, finding a value play at pitcher is tough. Samardzija has not been overly impressive this season with a 4.52 ERA, a 1.29 WHIP, and a 4-7 record. From a DraftKings perspective, he is averaging 12.3 FPPG and has hit double-digits in his last two starts. That combined with facing off against the Padres who are 19th in runs scored and 20th in batting average gives Samardzija value play potential tonight.
Catcher
Chance Sisco (BAL): $4,000 @ TB
Sisco is 4-for-12 over his last three games with two home runs, seven RBI, and five runs scored. Catcher remains a tough value play on a tough night, but Sisco offers a chance at a big night with his 1.033 OPS in 45 plate appearances this season.

First Base
Yandy Diaz (TB): $4,300 vs, BAL
Diaz is slashing .284/.354/.500 with 11 home runs and 32 RBI. Over the last seven games, Diaz has averaged .355 and has been held hitless just twice. This season he is averaging 8.7 FFPG and his hit double digits in five of his last seven games.
Second Base
Jonathan Villar (BAL): $4,500 @ TB
Villar is on a four-game hitting streak and he has scored 17+ fantasy points in three of those games. Tonight’s matchup against Ryne Stanek isn’t the easiest, but with 8.1 FPPG, Villar could be a strong return on investment tonight.
Third Base
Eugenio Suarez (CIN): $4,000 vs. MIL
Suarez is more of a boom or bust play with just a .248 batting average but 17 home runs and 48 RBI. His matchup tonight against Houser is no slam dunk but with the upside power potential and at this price, Suarez has the potential to be a great value play.
Shortstop
Elvis Andrus (TEX): $4,600 vs. LAA
Andrus is right in the middle for prices of shortstops tonight. Andrus is batting .309 with seven home runs and 43 RBI and is averaging 9.3 FPPG. Additionally, Andrus will faceoff against Jose Suarez who carries a 5.57 ERA and a 1.48 WHIP.
Outfield
Kris Bryant (CHC): $4,600 @ PIT
Bryant is hitting .287 on the season with 16 home runs and 41 RBI. Bryant has his in 13 of his last 15 games and has a favorable matchup against Trevor Williams tonight. With 12 guys priced higher than Bryant, you will be hard pressed to find a better deal tonight.
Shohei Ohtani (LAA): $4,700 @ TEX
Ohtani is slashing .299/.356/.552 on the season and has 12 home runs and 35 RBI. While his matchup against Mike Minor is less ideal than Kris Bryant‘s, Ohtani too has been consistent this season with 9.2 FPPG on DraftKings. Ohtani’s power numbers are slightly worse against lefties this year but his average is actually a few percentages better making him viable against anyone he goes up against. Ohtani should be a good value tonight.
Austin Meadows (TB): $4,600 vs. BAL
Meadows is batting .291 with 12 home runs and 41 RBI and has averaged 9.1 FPPG this season. On a night with limited options Meadows is a guy to take a look at.
