DraftKings MLB Lineup Advice: Monday (6/24)

On Monday’s seven-game MLB slate, with the high-priced “aces” in tough spots, you can afford to pay down on the mound and load up on bats. The only problem is which bats to use since there are a plethora of hitters in good spots due to favorable weather conditions and plenty of gas can pitchers on the hill ready to get lit up. I have written up some of my favorites but every bat in the other notables section are also strong options tonight.

As always, be sure to pay close attention to the lineups when they are released and monitor the weather leading up to game time. For reference throughout the season, be sure to bookmark our overview of MLB Park Factors and how to Use Weather to Your Advantage in MLB DFS.

Pitchers

Eduardo Rodriguez (BOS): $8,700 vs. CWS
With Lucas Giolito on the road in Boston and Clayton Kershaw on the road in Arizona, it is hard to justify spending up for them at their current price tags. So, I will be saving some money on the mound, using Rodriguez as my “ace”. He and the Red Sox are one of the biggest Vegas favorites on the board and he will be pitching at home where he has fared better than on the road this season. Rodriguez has a solid .280 wOBA allowed at home to go along with an elevated 29.7% strikeout rate. He has allowed just a .282 wOBA with a 25% strikeout rate against the current collection of White Sox hitters during his career. The White Sox have struggled against southpaws on the road this season with a .277 wOBA (28th), 71 wRC+ (27th), and a 25.3% strikeout rate (8th).
