Wednesday’s slate of games is packed as usual, with 10 games on tap for your viewing pleasure. Some of the best matchups to target are PHI/CHI, DEN/LAL, CLE/BKN, and BOS/SAC. Here are some of my favorite DFS plays for tonight’s games. While you can’t play all of these guys, any of them will make fine additions to your DraftKings lineups.

Point Guard
Kyrie Irving (PG – BOS): $9,300 @ SAC
After losing five of seven games but coming off a big win over Golden State, the Celtics, and especially Irving, should be motivated to come out strong in this one. He’s put up at least 40.0 DK Points in four straight games and six of his last seven, giving him a very high floor. Irving’s averages of 23.4 points, 6.9 assists, and 4.9 rebounds this season have made him an elite fantasy option, and the Kings allow the most DK Points to opposing PGs – this one is a no-brainer.

Derrick White (PG/SG – SA): $5,400 @ ATL
White has posted at least 34.5 DK Points in three straight games, and that streak should continue against the Hawks and their poor defense tonight. His recent increase in production is due to his ability to fill up the stat sheet with solid numbers in most categories. White can put up some DK Points and comes in at a fairly low price.
Also consider: Trae Young vs. SA, Ricky Rubio @ NO
Shooting Guard
Joe Harris (SG/SF – BKN): $4,300 vs. Cleveland
The Three-Point Contest winner has had a great season thus far, but his production over his last four games has been a bit mediocre. As a result, his price tag hasn’t moved much, and he’s a solid low-cost option. He’s hit 25 threes in his last nine games combined, averaging 15.2 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 2.1 assists in that time. The last time Harris played his former team, he dropped 25 points, four rebounds, and two assists on the Cavaliers in a 3OT victory.
Dwyane Wade (PG/SG – MIA): $5,500 @ CHA
Wade has turned back the clock in his final season, delivering some impressive games, including a desperation heave that beat the buzzer to edge Golden State just last week. He comes in at only $5,500 with a lot of upside. Wade’s play has been up-and-down all season, but the reward outweighs the risk here, especially at this price. Charlotte ranks 27th in DK Points allowed to opposing guards this season.
Also consider: DeMar DeRozan @ ATL, Jordan Clarkson @ BKN
Small Forward
Jimmy Butler (SG/SF – PHI): $7,300 @ CHI
Butler has averaged 19.1 points, 5.2 rebounds, 4.0 assists, and 2.0 steals per game this season, good for 36.7 DK Points per game. He’s exceeded that average with 39.5 DK Points per contest over his last three, supported by some strong performances. Butler is a good play regardless of matchup, but the revenge narrative in facing his former team shouldn’t be understated. He’ll look to show out in this matchup, and Butler is a recommended play tonight.
Will Barton (SG/SF – DEN): $5,600 @ LAL
Barton has found his rhythm recently, averaging 16.0 points, 7.5 rebounds, 3.0 assists, and 1.0 blocks over his last four games. That’s translated to over 33.0 DK Points per game, meaning Barton is a strong bet for another solid performance against a Lakers’ squad that’s literally shoving each other to get back on defense.
Also consider: Luka Doncic @ WAS, Cedi Osman @ BKN
Power Forward
Tobias Harris (PF – PHI): $7,700 @ CHI
With Joel Embiid and Boban Marjanovic both out with knee injuries and Jonah Bolden (illness) questionable tonight, Harris will be the best available option in the 76ers’ frontcourt. He’s averaged 21.7 points, 7.9 rebounds, and 2.7 assists per game over nine games since joining Philadelphia, and that production has been valuable for fantasy purposes. Harris has failed to reach 30.0 DK Points in just one game with the 76ers, and he’s had five games of at least 40.0 DK Points in that same stretch. He’s a great play tonight.
Kevin Love (PF/C – CLE): $7,500 @ BKN
Love looks like he’s back to full strength after missing 52 games with a toe injury this season. In his last five games, he’s played at least 20 minutes and averaged 21.6 points and 11.4 rebounds. His average of 41.2 DK Points is sensational considering his still-modest price tag, and tonight’s matchup with Brooklyn’s bottom-of-the-barrel frontcourt defense is juicy.
Also consider: Paul Millsap @ LAL, Rudy Gay @ ATL
Center
Anthony Davis (PF/C – NO): $6,700 vs. UTA
Yeah, I know Davis hasn’t been playing many minutes since the trade debacle with the Lakers went down, but Davis has put up some monster DFS numbers anyway. Over his last five games, Davis has seen his price drop from $8,700 to a mere $6,700. Over those same five games, Davis is averaging just 21.0 minutes per game but has piled up 38.2 DK Points per game in that span. I’ll take a flyer here just because of the talent and price and because I’m not confident enough in any of the other high-tier centers tonight at their exorbitant prices.
Alex Len (C – ATL): $4,500 vs. SA
Dewayne Dedmon (knee) will most likely sit tonight, and Omari Spellman (ankle) and John Collins (illness) are most likely out as well. That opens the door for Len to play a lot of minutes in the frontcourt, and he immediately becomes a fantastic bargain play. Prior to Monday’s dud against the Heat, Len averaged 47.4 DK Points in his two previous games in which he went off for 26.0 points, 9.5 rebounds, and 2.0 blocks per contest. Len should return a lot of value in your lineups tonight.
Also consider: Rudy Gobert @ NO, DeAndre Ayton vs. NYK
Dirt Cheap Bonus
Amir Johnson (PF/C – PHI): $3,100 @ CHI
The price can’t get much lower than this, and Johnson should be in line to start at Chicago tonight. As mentioned above, the Sixers’ frontcourt is completely decimated, leaving Johnson the last man standing at center. He drew the start on Tuesday, totaling 13 points, five boards, two assists, two blocks and a steal in 20 minutes. Expect similar playing time and production against the Bulls.
