After a small six-game slate last Wednesday, we’re back with nine games tonight! There are some fun matchups to watch, especially the battle of heavy hitters Oklahoma City and Toronto. The games with the highest over/under tonight are WAS/CHI (234 1/2), NOR/ORL (226), and BOS/PHI (226). Those games should provide a lot of fantasy production from multiple players, and they’re worth targeting.
There are a few notable injuries to monitor prior to tip-off. Both Kevin Love (back) and Larry Nance Jr (ribs) are GTD tonight, making David Nwaba an intriguing play at a cheap price if the former two sit. Giannis Antetokounmpo (ankle) is a GTD, and with Malcolm Brogdon out indefinitely with a torn plantar fascia, Khris Middleton could stay hot against the Cavs. Kyle Lowry (ankle) May miss tonight’s game against the Thunder, making Fred VanVleet a solid pivot and Jeremy Lin a boom/bust dart-throw. Zach LaVine (thigh) is in danger of missing tonight’s game against the Wizards. Kris Dunn and Ryan Arcidiacono could make cheap upside plays if LaVine doesn’t take the court.

With all of that said, here are some of my favorite DFS plays to use tonight when setting your DraftKings lineups. As always, you can’t play all of these guys, but any of them will make a fine addition to your lineup.

Point Guard
Elfrid Payton (PG – NOR): $9,500 @ ORL
It’s almost impossible to resist adding Payton to your lineups right now. He’s produced five consecutive triple-doubles starting in place of the injured Jrue Holiday (abdomen) – a feat that’s only been accomplished by a handful of players in NBA history. Holiday is questionable tonight, and with Anthony Davis playing on a minutes restriction, expect Payton to stay heavily involved in the offense.
Goran Dragic (PG – MIA): $5,300 @ SA
It looks like Dragic will continue to come off the Miami bench at least for the foreseeable future. He’s gotten some extra work in over his last two games with Justice Winslow (thigh) out, and Winslow will miss tonight’s game too. Dragic makes a very affordable play tonight after averaging 22.5 points, 7.5 assists, and 3.5 rebounds in Winslow’s absence over the last two games.
Others to consider: Fred VanVleet @ OKC, Kris Dunn vs. WAS
Shooting Guard
Bradley Beal (SG – WAS): $9,400 @ CHI
It goes without saying that the Wizards’ offense runs through Beal. The Bulls allow the eighth-most DK Points to opposing shooting guards this season and present a tasty matchup. Chicago may not play sound defense, but they’ve picked it up on offense recently, and the Wizards will need to keep pace in what should be a high-scoring game. Beal had a poor showing on Monday in a blowout loss to the Jazz after dropping 40 points in consecutive games before that. The upside is huge.
Rodney Hood (SG/SF – POR): $4,000 vs. DAL
Jake Layman was pretty bad on Monday, starting in place of the injured C.J. McCollum (knee). Guards Hood and Seth Curry got extended work in that game and should see it again on Wednesday. Hood may be an inconsistent scorer, but he has the chance to post big numbers in an expanded role. You can’t beat the price, either.
Others to consider: Donovan Mitchell @ NYK, Khris Middleton @ CLE
Small Forward
Kawhi Leonard (SF – TOR): $8,400 @ OKC
Leonard has been fantastic this season, averaging career bests in points (27.1) and rebounds (7.4). He’s been out of the lineup intermittently due to rest as the regular season winds down, meaning he’s fresher for the games he plays in. Leonard has scored at least 25 points in six straight games, and he’ll look to keep his foot on the gas when he’s on the court as the Raptors look to maintain their top-two position in the Eastern Conference standings heading into the playoffs.
Jabari Parker (SF/PF – WAS): $6,000 @ CHI
Parker enters this game averaging 36.6 DK Points in his last four contests and scoring at least 15 real points in nine straight. He’s seemed to find his place in the Wizards’ rotation as a solid role player seeing 27.7 minutes of playing time in 10 games in March. It doesn’t hurt that he’ll be playing against the team that just traded him away earlier this season.
Others to consider: Luka Doncic @ POR, Jimmy Butler vs. BOS
Power Forward
LaMarcus Aldridge (PF/C – SA): $7,900 vs. MIA
Aldridge has been on a role in the month of March. In eight games this month, he’s averaged a healthy 43.5 DK Points. Those numbers are the result of 23.9 points, 10.3 rebounds, 1.6 assists, and 1.4 blocks per game while shooting 56.3 percent from the field. He’s a good bet to score a lot of DK Points against an average Miami defense.
Pascal Siakam (PF/C – TOR): $6,800 @ OKC
Siakam has a great matchup with a Thunder team that is giving to the power forward position. This should be a high-scoring game, and even with Kawhi Leonard (rest) and Serge Ibaka (suspension) back in the lineup, Siakam should have no problem hitting and exceeding his season averages of 16.4 points, 6.9 rebounds, and 3.0 assists. He’s averaging 31.9 minutes per game this season, and his role in the starting lineup hasn’t been impacted by the Marc Gasol signing at all.
Others to consider: Lauri Markkanen vs. WAS, Tobias Harris vs. BOS
Center
Nikola Vucevic (C – ORL): $10,500 vs. NOR
Fresh off of his first 20-20 game of the season, Vucevic will come in locked and loaded to a fantastic matchup with the Pelicans. On the season, the Pels give up the sixth most DK Points to the center position, with 58.48 per game. Vucevic has been on fire recently, averaging a very healthy 22.4 points and 13.6 rebounds over his last five games. He’s worth the price tonight.
Robin Lopez (C – CHI): $6,400 vs. WAS
He’s put up at least 32.8 DK Points in three of his last four games and continues to offer value at the center position due to his scoring and blocking abilities. With Zach LaVine (thigh) GTD and Otto Porter Jr (shoulder) questionable, there will be some gaping holes in the offense that Lopez will have to help fill.
Others to consider: Bam Adebayo @ SA, Rudy Gobert @ NYK
Dirt Cheap Bonus
Shaquille Harrison (PG/SF – CHI): $3,200 vs. WAS
I’m promoting another Chicago Bull here in what should be a great matchup in a spot start. With Otto Porter Jr (shoulder) doubtful for Wednesday’s home game against the Wizards, Harrison should find himself in the starting lineup once again. In Monday’s start against Phoenix, Harrison finished with six points, three boards, and an assist while piling up four steals. He’s begun to take on a larger role in the Bulls’ rotation as of late, averaging 7.6 points, 4.0 assists, 2.2 rebounds, and 1.6 steals over 25.6 minutes in his last five games. The price can’t get much lower, and he’s sure to hit at least 5x value tonight.
