Guards
Russell Westbrook (OKC) $11,400 vs. ORL
It’s a bit of a cop-out to take Westbrook as my top play at the guard position, but I’d be lying if I tried to convince you otherwise. Even with Vegas predicting a blowout victory for the Thunder, who are currently 10-point favorites, Westbrook has the best chance to be the top raw points player on this slate. He has scored 66 or more DK points in four of his last six games and has averaged 58.4 DK points against the Magic over the last two seasons. In the game last week in Orlando he put up 66 DK points, and I see no reason he shouldn’t be over 60 again in this game.
Reggie Jackson (DET) $5,500 @ NY
Jackson has been on fire lately, increasing his DK point total in each of his last five games including a season-high 46.5 in a loss to the Clippers Saturday night. The Knicks defense is not good overall and is especially bad against both guard positions. He had 33.8 DK points against the Knicks back in November on only 26 minutes — he hasn’t had less than 30 minutes in five straight games. Jackson will be an under-the-radar play on this fairly large Tuesday slate.

Cory Joseph (IND) $4,400 vs. LAL
Joseph has three things working in his favor on this slate, pace, price, and opportunity. He is only $4,400, playing one of the highest-paced teams in the league, and has logged 30-plus in two straight games. Even with Tyreke Evans back in the lineup on Saturday, it was Joseph who logged the most minutes of the two and had the better fantasy stat line.
Others to Consider: Justin Holiday $4,500, Colin Sexton #4,400, Rajon Rondo (LAL) $6,800 @ IND
Forwards
Kawhi Leonard (TOR) $9,300 @ PHI
Leonard is averaging 58.5 DK points against the Sixers in two games this season, and while both of those games were at home, Leonard’s home/road splits actually favor the road. He is averaging two more fantasy points per game on the road this season (per DailyFantasyNerd) than in Toronto.
Marcus Morris (BOS) $ 5,400 @ CLE
The player that benefits the most from Kyrie Irving’s absence is not who you would think it would be. Conventional wisdom would have you believe it to be Terry Rozier, but, in fact, it is Morris. When Irving has been off the floor this season, Morris has seen a 4.5 percent increase in usage and his points per 48 minutes increases by nearly 7.5 DK points — the highest increase on the team in both categories (per RotoGrinders).
Dion Waiters (MIA) $3,800 @ POR
This pick won’t be a popular one as the matchup isn’t that great for Waiters. In fact, looking at most of the metrics, rostering Waiters doesn’t make a lot of sense. However, he is the cheapest he has been in about three weeks and he just played back-to-back games in which he logged at least 26 minutes. His upside at sub-4k is worth a shot in GPPs, especially if you are trying to fit Westbrook into your lineup.
Others to consider: Nicolas Batum $5,200, Blake Griffin $8,800
Centers
Marc Gasol (MEM) $7,700 vs. MIN
Take a walk with me down narrative street… Gasol has played his last three games on the road, and after this home game against the Wolves tonight, his next game isn’t until Thursday at 8 PM EST. The NBA trade deadline is Thursday at 3 PM EST. In other words, this could be Gasol’s last game in a Grizzlies uniform, a place where he has spent his entire career spanning back to their days as the Vancouver Grizzlies. He knows it. The fans know it. His teammates know it. If this is truly his last game as a Grizzly, he will want to play his best game in front of his home crowd, and at $7,700, you can’t afford not to have him in your player pool.
Myles Turner (IND) $6,500 vs. LAL
Turner has back-to-back 30-plus DK point games and, despite his struggles in L.A. the last time he played the Lakers, the matchup is too good to pass up. At $6,500, in a pace-up game against a Lakers team that struggles to defend the center position, Turner is an excellent mid-tier option at center tonight.
Others to consider: Joel Embiid $10,500
