We have a light Wednesday slate in the Association tonight with only eight games. The highest over/unders (and games of note) are ATL/SAC (235.5) and DEN/NO (227.0). Those games should be targeted because of the projected high scoring and poor defense. I’m going to name some of my favorite plays tonight for DraftKings lineups. While you can’t play all of these guys, any of them will make fine additions to your DFS rosters.

Point Guard
Trae Young (PG – ATL): $7,400 @ SAC
Young has been hot in his last four games, going for at least 40 DK Points in his last two games and at least 30 in his last four. Over his last two games, Young has averaged 28.0 points, 8.0 assists, 3.0 rebounds and only 2.5 turnovers. He faces the Kings tonight in the highest-projected scoring matchup on Wednesday’s slate, and Sacramento is one of five teams allowing at least 50.0 DK Points to opposing point guards this season.
Terry Rozier (PG/SG – BOS): $6,100 vs. CHA
Kyrie Irving (hip) is unlikely to play tonight, leaving Rozier to fill in at starting point guard again. He’s played at least 30 minutes in two of his last three games, averaging 42.9 DK Points in those contests. “Scary Terry” is a solid play.

Others to consider: De’Aaron Fox vs. ATL, Trey Burke vs. DAL
Shooting Guard
Buddy Hield (SG/SF – SAC): $7,200 vs. ATL
Hield is averaging 36.0 DK Points over his last five games. He’s been cooking in those contests, putting up 20.6 points and four made three-pointers per game. Hield gets a home matchup against the league’s most generous defense to opposing shooting guards. Atlanta is surrendering 45.45 DK Points to that position this season.
Aaron Holiday (PG/SG – IND): $3,600 @ WAS
Holiday played 22 minutes off the bench in Monday’s blowout loss to the Warriors, and he’ll be expected to step up with Victor Oladipo (knee) done for the season. Tyreke Evans (back) will also be out, making Holiday a very cheap play with some upside.
Others to consider: Zach LaVine @ MIA, Gary Harris @ NO
Small Forward
Andrew Wiggins (SG/SF – MIN): $6,500 vs. MEM
Minnesota will be without Jeff Teague (foot) and Tyus Jones (ankle) tonight, and Derrick Rose (ankle) is a GTD. Wiggins should be in for a heavy offensive workload, and the matchup isn’t scary. In his last three games, Wiggins is averaging 26.3 points, 7.3 boards, 3.3 assists and 2.0 steals. He’s totaled at least 40 DK Points in all of those games.
Bogdan Bogdanovic (SG/SF – SAC): $5,500 vs. ATL
Bogdanovic will be playing one of the league’s worst defenses in one of Wednesday’s highest-scoring games. Seeing a pattern here? He’s averaging 28.3 DK Points per game this season, but he has two 45+ DK Point performances under his belt in his last four games. At only 5.5K, he’s a bargain tonight.
Others to consider: Justice Winslow vs. CHI, Torrey Craig @ NO
Power Forward
John Collins (PF/C – ATL): $7,900 @ SAC
Collins has been a monster for the Hawks this season, and he’s been a great daily option almost every time he takes the court. He’s averaging 37.0 DK Points per game, and he’s scored at least 30.0 in 11 straight contests. His 19.5 points and 10.3 rebounds per game averages give him a likely double-double bonus in DK lineups. Sacramento is giving up 50.7 DK Points per game to opposing power forwards – second worst in the NBA.
Noah Vonleh (PF/C – NYK): $5,900 vs. DAL
With Luke Kornet (ankle) ruled out and Enes Kanter (coach’s decision) likely out of the Knicks’ rotation, Vonleh will be New York’s primary presence in the frontcourt. Expect him to have a good game against a middle-of-the-road Dallas defense.
Others to consider: Lauri Markkanen @ MIA, Thaddeus Young @ WAS
Center
Nikola Jokic (C – DEN): $10,900 @ NO
Jokic has been one of the league’s premier bigs this season, good for 49.1 DK Points per game. On the season, he’s averaging 20.1 points, 10.3 boards, and 7.6 assists per game. The points and assists are career highs. Jokic takes on a decimated Pelicans frontcourt tonight and without Jamal Murray (ankle) in the lineup for Denver, Jokic should be in for a huge game.
Jahlil Okafor (C – NO): $6,600 vs. DEN
My two top picks at the center position are playing each other this evening and although Okafor is much cheaper, he has the potential to put Jokic-type numbers up. New Orleans will be without Anthony Davis (ginger), Nikola Mirotic (calf) and Julius Randle (ankle), so Okafor should see at least 30 minutes of action in a game with an over/under of 227. Okafor has seen at least 25 minutes in each of his last five games, and he’s parlayed them into 21.0 points, 11.0 rebounds and 2.6 blocks per game. His 41.8 DK Points per game in that same stretch make his 6.6K price point very appealing.
Others to consider: Myles Turner @ WAS, Dewayne Dedmon @ SAC
