Quarterback

Kyle Allen (CAR): $6,000 @ NO
It’s Week 17 and there is a ton of value on this slate from either playoff teams resting their starters or non-playoff teams looking to evaluate their young talent. In Allen’s case, however, both the QBs in front of him have gone to IR, forcing him into a starting role this week. Allen is a value option based strictly on his price as this will be his first start in his young career. Being an undrafted rookie getting your first start against the Saints in New Orleans is not a recipe for success, but the Saints have nothing to play for having already locked up the No. 1 seed, and, at 6k, he doesn’t have to do much to hit value.

Running Back

Royce Freeman (DEN): $4,700 vs LAC
I’ve been wanting to see Freeman get a chance at a full workload all season and it looks like he will finally get his chance. Starting RB Phillip Lindsay is on IR, leaving the backfield to Devontae Booker and Freeman, but I expect Freeman to see the lions share of snaps. It’s a tough matchup with the Chargers but at $4,700 volume alone will make him viable.

Wide Receiver

Robert Foster (BUF): $5,800 vs MIA
Foster has been one of my favorite values over the last few weeks of the season. The undrafted rookie out of Alabama has at least 50 yards receiving in five of his last six games, including three 100-yard games. His speed coupled with QB Josh Allen‘s big arm makes him a big play waiting to happen.

DaeSean Hamilton (DEN): $5,400 vs LAC
Since Emanuel Sanders went to IR, Hamilton has stepped into a large role as the main slot receiver. Over those three games, Hamilton has at least nine targets in every game and has scored twice. His yardage total leaves something to be desired, having fewer than 50 yards in the three games, but opportunity is what you are looking for in a value WR, and he is getting plenty of volume.

Tight End

Gerald Everett (LAR): $4,800 vs SF
It doesn’t take much to be a Top 10  TE this season in fantasy, but Everett has worked his way into a consistent role with a very good offense. He has at least six targets over his last three games and his size makes for a good red zone target.

Defense

Atlanta Falcons $3,300 @ TB
The Falcons defense has scored double-digit FanDuel points and forced seven turnovers in their last two games. Today they get the turnover-prone Buccaneers and could also see some of backup QB Ryan Griffin in this game. All signs point to the Falcons having another big defensive game.
