I’m going to give you a few adds each week for you to think about and consider. I play in deep dynasty IDP leagues so my recommendations will be based on that. You won’t get the big name adds from me because they are probably owned already. Let’s get ready for Week 9!

Defensive End
Ronald Brown (SF)
I talked him up last week and really like him for anyone in need for a DE this week against the Raiders. Averaging four tackles a game over the last three weeks, I would bet he goes over that for you this week.
Defensive Tackle
Darius Philon (LAC)
Coming off the bye week, he is in a plus matchup against Seattle this week. It looks like he was dropped in a few leagues heading into the bye week. He should get you a few tackles which will keep you from a goose egg. It is tough to sack Russell Wilson, but he should be a good option in leagues that count hurries.
Linebackers
Brandon Copeland (NYJ)
It’s extremely challenging in deeper leagues this week if you’re looking for help at this position. Work a trade if you’re hurting and contending. I give you a boom-or-bust guy here as he is sack dependent. I like him against Miami this week and like his chances at a three-game streak of getting a sack. In leagues that give you the hurry points, he will be more helpful.
Safety
Patrick Chung (NE)
All he does is deliver points! It’s a solid add for anyone in need of safety help. Against the Buffalo Bills, he delivered five solo tackles, and their offense is not as high powered as this week’s opponent, Green Bay. Look for steady numbers this week as he will be active in the secondary and will continue to put up some good points for you.
Marcus Williams (NO)
I think the Rams will look at him as a favorable matchup and target him in this game. In IDPs, we like these guys as they will have more opportunity for tackles. This is a plus game so add and start if needed this week.
Corner
Kendall Fuller (KC)
This guy should never be on waivers! I’m beside myself at his ownership percentage today. Go get him and start him!
Joe Haden (PIT)
This is another option for anyone in need. It seems corners are always the one position most talked about. He is going against the Ravens this week and will be around his average of tackles on this game.
Get after it and good luck this week!
