The NBA season is winding down, but after a day off for every team on Monday, there is a huge 13-game slate on Tuesday night. You all know the drill by now, try to focus most of your lineup construction on players on teams that have something to play for and players getting an opportunity late in the season for increased minutes with the stars getting rested for the remainder of the season.

One Stud
Nikola Jokic (C – DEN): $9,800 vs. IND
The Nuggets are fighting for the last playoff spot in the Western Conference and as a result are playing in some wildly entertaining and close, high-scoring games lately including back-to-back overtime wins. The quest for Nikola Jokic and the Nuggets on Tuesday is a home game as a small favorite over the Pacers who are playing for playoff seeding and a first-round home court advantage. Jokic has scored at least 58 DraftKings points in each of his last three games and offers a lot of salary relief from the other high-priced studs on the slate.
Core Plays
Paul George (SF/PF – OKC): $7,700 vs GS
While Russell Westbrook is the player on the Thunder that has a grudge against Kevin Durant and the Warriors, Paul George has also stepped up his game in three previous meetings with the Warriors averaging 21.0 points and 7.0 rebounds for 44.1 DK points per game. The Thunder can still finish anywhere from the three-seed to out of the playoffs, so they have something to play for.

The Thunder can still finish anywhere from the three-seed to out of the playoffs, so they have something to play for.
Ricky Rubio (PG – UTH): $6,800 vs. LAL
Ricky Rubio has owned the Lakers over the last two seasons averaging 17.0 points, 10.0 assists, 4.4 rebounds and 2.4 steals in five games. All of that production resulted in 42.1 DK points per game in five meetings.
Rubio is also playing well right now as the Jazz look to secure a playoff spot with at least 42 DK points in four of his last five games. Sounds like a 40 DK point night for Rubio making him a value at just $6,800.
Trey Burke (PG/SG – NY): $6,600 vs. ORL
Trey Burke has taken over PG duties for the Knicks down the stretch and has excelled in the role averaging 21.3 points and 7.8 assists over his last six games. He should be able to post another big stat line on Tuesday against the Magic who have allowed the second most DK points to opposing PGs this season.
Al Horford (PF/C – BOS): $6,400 @ MIL
Al Horford continues to see more of the Celtics’ offense flow through him with Kyrie Irving out. His fantasy production has been a little hit-or-miss recently but a plus matchup against the Bucks who have allowed the second most DK points to opposing big men over the last 30 days should allow Horford to “hit” on Tuesday.
Horford has already had a lot of success against the Bucks this season averaging 20.0 points, 8.0 rebounds and 5.3 assists in three meetings for 42.2 DK points per game. The Celtics still have a shot at the top seed in the East.
Value Plays
Derrick Favors (PF/C – UTH): $5,300 vs. LAL
Derrick Favors is one of the steadier fantasy producers in the NBA putting up about 12 points and seven rebounds per night. His reasonable $5,300 salary in a favorable matchup against the Lakers could allow him to exceed five times value. The Lakers have given up the second most DK points to opposing PFs over the last 30 days and with the Jazz still fighting the playoffs, Favors should see his usual 30-plus minutes.
De’Aaron Fox (PG – SAC): $5,000 @ PHO
Rookie De’Aaron Fox could be putting together a late-season surge as he has posted 14.5 points and 7.0 assists over his last two games to put up 32.25 DK points per game. Fox couldn’t ask for a better matchup on Tuesday against the Suns who have allowed the most DK points to opposing PGs over the last 30 days. Fox’s backcourt mate Bogan Bogdanovic ($5,100) is also a solid option if you need an SG/SF to fill out your lineup.
Jabari Parker (SF/PF – MIL): $4,400 vs BOS
Jabari Parker exploded in his last game with 35 points and 10 rebounds resulting in a season-high 58 DK points and 39 minutes. The added production was partly to do with an overtime period, and a fast-paced matchup with the Nuggets but is still an encouraging sign that Parker is back to full strength after missing the first half of the season. Parker only needs to put together half of that production in Tuesday to still easily outpace his low $4,400 salary.
Ivica Zubac (C – LAL): $3,300 @ UTH
Ivica Zubac is only a GPP flier to consider for Tuesday’s slate. He could see a bump in minutes if Brook Lopez is ruled out.
While he will draw a tough matchup against Rudy Gobert and the Jazz he has shown that he can put up strong fantasy points per minute numbers. Zubac is worth a high-upside shot if Lopez is out.
