Wednesday greets us with a six-game slate, which is a bit smaller than we typically see on this particular day of the week. Despite the shortened schedule, this looks to still be a solid night of fantasy action as three games have projected totals of 224 points or more. Furthermore, each game currently sports a spread of seven points or less, which hopefully means blowouts won’t be a concern.
Looking at the rest situation, the Raptors and Pelicans played last night and tonight is also their third game in four nights, so that’s certainly something to consider. The Rockets and Nuggets also played last night. The Pacers and Bucks are playing their third game in four nights, but they did have yesterday off. Everyone else is coming off of at least one day of rest, with the Kings having two days since their last game. Let’s take a look at a tournament lineup for FanDuel.

Point Guard
Kyle Lowry (TOR): $7,700 @ DET
Lowry went AWOL last night against the Hawks, but I think he’s firmly in play tonight. He looked uninterested in 22 minutes while dealing with foul trouble, so hopefully, this doesn’t carry over into tonight’s game against the Pistons. This is a plus matchup, so feel free to fire him up in GPPs with the hopes that he bounces back this evening.

D.J. Augustin (ORL): $4,900 @ LAL
Augustin is coming off of a tough outing against the Jazz, but he’s still an elite source of salary relief in a good matchup against the Lakers. This game features a high total and there should be plenty of opportunities for Augustin to pay off his modest salary.
Other Notables
Shooting Guard
Gary Harris (DEN): $7,200 vs. CLE
Harris has been inconsistent as of late, so I’m hoping Will Barton attracts a bit more attention in GPPs. Despite scoring just 15.6 FDP in his last game, Harris did score 43.4 FDP two games ago, which just so happened to be against the Cavaliers. His minutes are secure in the mid-30s, so don’t be afraid to target his fair midrange tag.
Ben McLemore (MEM): $4,200 @ CHI
There’s some value worth targeting on the Grizzlies, as McLemore looks poised to return to the team after dealing with a personal matter. He figures to see all the minutes he can handle with Tyreke Evans, Andrew Harrison, and Mario Chalmers out, so target him as a great source of salary relief in all contest formats.
Other Notables
Small Forward
Giannis Antetokounmpo (MIL): $11,500 vs. HOU
The small forward position is top-heavy as it features LeBron James and Antetokounmpo, both of whom are in games that are expected to be relatively close, high-scoring affairs. It’s going to be tough to split exposure due to a $1,000 price difference, but I would still try and build somewhat similar lineups around each of them. It’s always tough to fade James, but getting Antetokounmpo at a discount is hard to ignore. If forced to choose, I’m going overweight on my exposure to Antetokounmpo tonight.
Dillon Brooks (MEM): $4,500 @ CHI
Brooks is an intriguing pair with one of the studs as he should be called upon to help carry some of the load for the Grizzlies. The position is ugly, so pay attention to the news as the day unfolds as some crucial value could open up.
Other Notables
Power Forward
Blake Griffin (DET): $8,100 vs. TOR
Griffin would be my preference over someone like Julius Randle, as he is showing signs of busting out of a concerning slump to close out February. His price will only continue to rise, so take advantage while you can.
Larry Nance Jr. (CLE): $7,500 @ DEN
Nance figures to continue seeing extended run with Tristan Thompson on the shelf tonight in Denver. He’s too expensive for cash games, but I love his upside for tournaments. He’s flashed 40+ FDP upside at times, but the floor is unfortunately too low to trust him in anything other than GPP contests.
Other Notables
Center
Emeka Okafor (NO): $3,800 @ SAC
Okafor can be considered across all formats this evening as he returned to play 21 minutes last night while producing 29.4 FDP. He’s a strong punt who can also open things up to spend at other positions.
