Wednesday greets us with a short four-game schedule and it could be a tricky one to navigate as a result. Two contests sport a total of 209.5, with the Lakers/Warriors game featuring a bloated total of 225.5 points.
Looking at the rest situation, the Lakers, Magic, and Wizards played last night, with tonight also the third game in four nights for the Lakers. The Kings are playing their third game in four nights as well, but they did have yesterday off. The other four teams don’t have rest issues, but there are plenty of injury situations to monitor. Let’s take a look at a tournament lineup for FanDuel.

Point Guard
Goran Dragic (MIA): $6,500 @ SAC
Dragic scored 20+ points for the first time since February 23rd in his last game, which is hopefully a sign that he could be breaking out of his post-All Star break slump. He contributes enough in other statistical categories to maintain fantasy relevance, but the scoring is good to see. This is an otherwise unspectacular matchup tonight against the Kings, but I don’t mind taking a flier here in GPPs at a fair price.
D.J. Augustin (ORL): $4,500 vs. MIL
Augustin is doesn’t possess a high ceiling, but he provides meaningful salary relief in roster construction tonight. This isn’t the best individual matchup against the Bucks, he should see enough run to allow him plenty of opportunities to hit value this evening.

Other Notables
Shooting Guard
Bradley Beal (WAS): $8,200 @ BOS
Beal has been down over his last two games and you have to wonder if shouldering the load in the absence of John Wall is beginning to take its toll. The minutes should still be there, especially tonight in what is likely to be a close game. Boston will be without three of their regular backcourt options, so don’t worry too much about the matchup tonight.
Buddy Hield (SAC): $5,300 vs. MIA
Hield continues to be an extremely volatile asset, but that’s precisely what you’re looking for when constructing a tournament lineup. He’s scored 9.1, 33, and 10.2 FDP in each of the last three games, which underscores how risky Hield can be. This is a slightly positive individual matchup and there’s some upside worth chasing as a result.
Other Notables
Small Forward
Kevin Durant (GS): $10,500 vs. LAL
With Stephen Curry and Draymond Green out, Durant will once again carry a heavy load for the beaten up Warriors. Klay Thompson is also questionable to play, which would likely shift an absurd offensive burden to Durant. Either way, he’s a must-play against the Lakers in what should be a high-scoring game.
Omri Casspi (GS): $3,500 vs. LAL
With Draymond Green out, Casspi should see extended run tonight even if Jordan Bell does return to action. He doesn’t need to do much at this price and the salary flexibility Casspi provides is very useful as it allows you to spend up elsewhere.
Other Notables
Power Forward
Julius Randle (LAL): $7,400 @ GS
Randle won’t have to deal with a pesky Draymond Green tonight, so I love targeting him across all formats as a result. He continues to be a focal point for the Lakers in their fast-paced offense and the results have been incredible, especially as of late. He is a lock for minutes in the mid-30s and should have no issues eclipsing his value threshold this evening.
Kelly Olynyk (MIA): $5,500 @ SAC
Hassan Whiteside has been ruled out for tonight’s game against the Kings, so I look for a combination of Kelly Olynyk and Bam Adebayo to help shore things up inside. Olynyk has scored in double-figures in four out of the last six games while providing respectable numbers in the rebound and assist categories as well. Olynyk is a solid midrange option on the road against the Kings tonight.
Other Notables
Center
Nikola Vucevic (ORL): $8,600 vs. MIL
Vucevic is coming off of an ugly outing last night in which the entire Orlando team produced a clunker. I look for the big man to bounce back tonight against a subpar rebounding team in the Bucks. Vucevic has been fairly inconsistent as of late, but he does have 50 FDP upside and that is worth targeting in GPP contests tonight.
