While Tuesday’s six-game slate in the Association won’t likely bring another high-scoring double-overtime thriller like Monday’s Heat/Nuggets game, there are still a couple of spots that it might be worth doing a game stack just in case. Both the Clippers/Timberwolves and Rockets/Blazers matchups have tight Vegas point spreads, healthy Vegas totals and feature matchup between teams fighting for the playoffs and playoff seeding. While there are only a few guys from those games on my DraftKings Lineup Advice list, there are plenty of good options on those teams for a game stack, hoping for another double-overtime thriller.

One Stud
James Harden (PG/SG – HOU): $11,200 @ POR
Speaking of the Rockets/Blazers matchup, my “one stud” for Tuesday comes from that game with James Harden. He has played at least 37 minutes in each of the last two games against fellow playoff teams and responded averaging 33.0 points, 7.5 rebounds and 10.0 assists per game (63.9 DK points). Meanwhile, Harden set the Blazers a blaze in their previous meeting this season with 48 points (69.5 DK points).
Core Plays
Blake Griffin (PF/C – DET): $8,500 @ PHO
Blake Griffin has been consistently good over his last nine games with at least 40 DK points in seven of those outings including topping 50 twice in the last three games. He’ll get another shot at a 50-burger on Tuesday in a very favorable matchup against the Suns who have allowed the most DK points per game to opposing PFs this season. Griffin lit up the Suns in a previous meeting this season with 29 points and eight rebounds in just 27 minutes of action.

Rudy Gobert (C – UTH): $8,400 vs ATL
Rudy Gobert has been a dominant force in the middle for the Jazz over his last nine games with at least 42 DK points in eight of them while posting at least 20 points and 10 rebounds six times during that stretch. He’ll get the added benefit of playing without Derrick Favors by his side on Tuesday which should give him even more rebound opportunities against a Hawks team that has allowed the fourth most DK points to opposing centers this season. I wouldn’t be surprised if he posts his first 20-20 game of the season.
Josh Jackson (SG/SF – PHX): $6,300 vs DET
With T.J. Warren expected to miss Tuesday’s game and Devin Booker questionable, Josh Jackson could see all the minutes he can handle against the Pistons. Without Warren and Booker on the floor in the previous game, Jackson scored a career-high 36 points in 36 minutes against the Warriors while shooting 23 shots. If both players are ruled out then Jackson will be the uber-chalk.
Andrew Wiggins (SG/SF – MIN): $6,200 vs LAC
I’m still waiting for it. What is “it”? “It” is Wiggins breakout game with Jimmy Butler out. Sure, Wiggins has been consistently good with between 29 and 35 DK points in nine of his last 10 games which fit right into 5x value for his current salary. But he has only had one game with at least 30 points this season game which just so happens came against the Clippers when he scored 40 points back on January 22. I’m looking for a repeat performance on Tuesday against the same foe. This is “it”!
Value Plays
Nikola Mirotic (PF – NO): $5,400 vs DAL
I would feel better about recommending Nikola Mirotic if his minutes would be more consistent as they seem to bounce around anywhere from 20 to 30 which makes a big difference. Playing against Dallas who has some solid bigs, Mirotic saw 31 minutes when the teams met earlier this month and he responded with 24 points and five rebounds (37.75 DK points). Let’s hope that is a sign that the minutes will be there again on Tuesday because if they are the fantasy production will follow.
Yogi Ferrell (PG/SG – DAL): $5,300 / J.J. Barea (PG/SG – DAL): $4,800 @ NO
With Dennis Smith Jr. ruled out for Tuesday’s contest against the Pelicans, the PG position minutes are there for the taking between Yogi Ferrell and J.J. Barea. Watch Barea’s status leading up to tipoff as he is currently questionable. If Barea is out then lock in Ferrell who is coming off a 12-point, 12-assist game and will get all the minutes he can handle. If both play then they are both still solid options in a favorable up-tempo matchup against the Pelicans who have allowed the sixth most DK points to opposing PGs this season.
Ish Smith (PG – DET): $4,400 @ PHO
Reggie Jackson is nearing a return which will hurt Ish Smith’s fantasy stock. Assuming that Jackson does not get his first action on Tuesday, then give Smith a long, hard look in a plus matchup against the Suns. The Suns have allowed the most DK points to opposing PGs this season and Smith posted 28.3 DK points against them in just 20 minutes earlier this season. Smith is coming off a good shooting night hitting 7-of-10 shots from the field for 18 points in 34 minutes on Monday and will look to carry over his hot shooting against the Suns at a minuscule salary for a starting PG in the best matchup you can get.
Jamal Crawford (SG – MIN): $3,800 vs LAC
If you are stacking up the Timberwolves/Clippers game or even if you don’t still give Jamal Crawford a look against his former club. Crawford has averaged close to a DK point per minutes in two previous meetings with the Clippers and now that Jimmy Butler is out, Crawford has seen his minutes rise into the mid to upper 20s. At a point per minutes that would be about 25-30 DK points. Not a bad return on investment in his low $3,800 salary.
