Tuesday’s massive 11-game slate of NBA action give us a lot of information to process in order to whittle the player pool down to an eight-man lineup. The slate should lead to another high-scoring DFS night with a couple games coming in with a Vegas’ total over 230 (Cavaliers/Suns and Nuggets/Lakers) and no double-digit favorites (although the Raptors probably should be over the Nets, more on that later).
With a big NBA slate, there is no better time than to test out your viewing location for the upcoming March Madness tournament and exercise your eyes to dart back and forth between multiple games at once.
Note that some of the stats referenced in this article are my custom DvP calculations that combine both season and last five games data along with blending similar positions production allowed together.

One Stud
Anthony Davis (PF/C – NO): $11,200 vs CHA
Anthony Davis is a DFS enigma. Playing him in Cash games is always a concern due to his innate ability to leave games early and destroy your lineup. Yet, with DeMarcus Cousins out, he offers by far the highest ceiling of any player. If you want to go with LeBron James in Cash in a good matchup against the Suns, I don’t blame you but be sure to get some Davis exposure in GPPs. He faces a Hornets’ defense that has allowed the fifth most DraftKings points to opposing centers over the last 30 days and third most DK points to the position over the last 15 days.

Core Plays
Nikola Jokic (C – DEN): $9,000 @ LAL
If you can’t find the salary to get Davis or just don’t have the stomach to roster him in Cash then consider Nikola Jokic instead. Jokic hit a bump in the road when Paul Millsap returned from injury but has re-asserted himself over the last three games which have included two 60 DK point outings. He draws a plus matchup against the Lakers who have given up increased production to opposing centers in points (+7.1%), rebounds (+4.7%) and assists (+11.5%). I’d be more surprised if Jokic doesn’t post a triple-double than if he does.
Devin Booker (SG/SF – PHO): $8,600 vs CLE
Devin Booker and a host of Suns missed the previous game but are all expected to return to action on Tuesday night against the Cavaliers. Booker has been on fire recently topping 30 points in six of his last seven games. He offers a high-floor and big upside which is always useful but especially on such a large slate. Booker could have one of those upside games against a Cavaliers’ defense that can’t stop anyone, especially opposing SGs to whom they have allowed the fifth most DK points per game over the last 30 days.
Larry Nance Jr (PF/C – CLE): $7,000 @ PHO
I don’t think the DK pricing algorithm likes Larry Nance Jr. as he remains just $7,000 despite averaging 16.8 points and 12.0 rebounds over his last four games. Or maybe the algorithm really likes the Suns defense despite giving up the fourth most DK points to opposing centers over the last 30 days. Whatever the reason DFS players should be taking advantage of the miscalculation and roster Nance in a great matchup at a very reasonable price.
Zach LaVine (PG/SG – CHI): $6,200 vs LAC
With so many good game environment and players on the 11-game slate, I expect the Bulls backcourt (Kris Dunn included) to go overlooked even though they are in a good spot themselves playing at home against the Clippers. The Clippers have allowed the second most DK points to opposing SGs this season including the most rebound and second most assists to the position. Zach LaVine‘s scoring will always be there and his bottom line will get a boost thanks to the increase in secondary stats. He did put up 21 points with nine rebounds and four assists against the Clippers earlier this season (41.8 DK points) despite shooting just 33 percent from the field. Hello, upside!
Value Plays
Darren Collison (PG – IND): $4,900 @ PHI
Darren Collison will be playing in just his third game since returning from injury but he has already seen his minutes rise into the mid-20s and has produced a game with double-digit points and a game with double-digit assists. Let’s see if he can combine the two efforts the third time around against the Sixers in what should be a competitive game between two teams fighting for playoff positioning.
Tyler Dorsey (PG/SG – ATL): $4,100 vs OKC
There surprising aren’t too many injuries opening up value on Tuesday despite the large slate. One case where an injury does impact a team is in Atlanta where Kent Bazemore is out for the rest of the season. While this could also help players like Dennis Schroder and Taurean Prince, Tyler Dorsey should get the biggest playing time increase as he likely enters the starting lineup and could see upwards of 30 minutes a night. He will face a Thunder team that has allowed the fourth most DK points to opposing SGs over the last 30 days.
Corey Brewer (SG/SF – OKC): $3,900 @ ATL
On the other side of the SG matchup against Dorsey and the Hawks is Corey Brewer who has been rejuvenated with a change of scenery in Oklahoma City. Brewer has witnessed his minutes rising in each of the last five games reaching up into the 30s in his last two outings. His primary asset has been scoring but he does contribute a few boards and a steal or two per game and could flourish in a favorable matchup against the Hawks who have given up the second most DK points to opposing SGs over the last 30 days.
Raptors Bench (TOR) @ BKN
As I stated in the intro, I’m expecting a blowout in Brooklyn on Tuesday for the Raptors. Anytime the Raptors win big their bench thrives with numerous players getting 20-plus minutes. Add on the plus matchup against an up-tempo Nets team and players such as Fred VanVleet ($4,400), CJ Miles ($3,800) and Jakob Poeltl ($3,800) are all in play for DFS lineups. The blowout potential is also why I will stay away from the starters who could have their minutes and thus their upside cut short despite the favorable matchup.
