Welcome to the Tuesday edition of the NBA FanDuel lineup article. We have a small five–game slate to work with on tonight’s slate. Let’s go ahead and take a look at my lineup for tonight’s slate.

Point Guard
Russell Westbrook (OKC): $12,200
Russell Westbrook is putting together another outstanding season this year and he is my favorite player to spend up for on tonight’s slate. The matchup is outstanding against the Nets, who have allowed the most FanDuel points to opposing point guards this season. There is definitely some blowout risk in this matchup. However, we cannot be too pick on a five-game slate and if it does turn into a blowout it will likely be due to a huge game from Westbrook.
Dejounte Murray (SAS): $4,800
It seems that the Spurs are in the process of passing the starting point guard torch from Tony Parker to DeJounte Murray after Murray received the starting nod over Park on Sunday. After the game Parker acknowledged that the team will be more successful with Murray starting over him. Murray played 27 minutes on Sunday and had an excellent game, putting up 30.4 FanDuel points. Tonight he has an excellent matchup against the Cavs, who have been absolutely atrocious on defense over the past few weeks.

Shooting Guard
Tim Hardaway Jr. (NYK): $5,500
Tim Hardaway Jr. has not missed a beat since returning from an injury which caused him to miss the entire month of December and the first week of January. In his five games since returning, Hardaway is averaging 30.9 FanDuel points per game. The individual matchup against Klay Thompson will not be great tonight. However, the shooting guard landscape is pretty awful tonight and Hardaway should see a huge uptick in usage percentage with Kristaps Porzingis being ruled out for tonight’s game.
Buddy Hield (SAC): $5,700
It seems the Kings are starting to wise up and begin to give their younger players a larger role on this subpar team. One of those young players is Buddy Hield, who has seen a consistent uptick in shot attempts in the month of January. Hield has scored double-digit real points in eight of his past nine games and tonight he has an excellent matchup against the Magic, who are in the bottom third of the league against opposing shooting guards.
Small Forward
Michael Beasley (NYK): $4,800 at GSW
I mentioned that Porzingis has been ruled out for tonight’s game against the Warriors, which means that Michael Beasley should see a huge increase in minutes. With Porzingis out, this game will undoubtedly be a blowout in the Warrior’s favor. However, Beasley should still be able to do enough damage with the increase in minutes and the increase in his usage rate tonight.
Jaylen Brown (BOS): $5,500 at LAL
Jaylen Brown has been the definition of a cash game player in the month of January. Brown has scored between 23.5 and 35.8 Fanduel points in six out of seven games this month. Tonight he has an outstanding matchup against the Lakers who have allowed the second-most FanDuel points to opposing small forwards this season.
Power Forward
LaMarcus Aldridge (SAS): $9,500 vs. CLE
LaMarcus Aldridge did not have a good game at all on Sunday against the Pacers. However, he has completely shouldered the Spurs offense this season with the absence of Kawhi Leonard. Overall, the Cavs have actually been decent against opposing power forwards this season, but Aldridge should still be able to do well in this matchup when you consider how much the Cavs have struggled recently on the defensive side of the ball.
Skal Labissiere (SAC): $5,400 at ORL
Another young King’s player who is on the verge of an increased role is Skal Labissiere. It is being reported that Zach Randolph missed last night’s game because of a sore knee. However, he officially ruled a DNP-Coach’s Decision. In Randolph’s absence, Labissiere did well, posting 31.8 FanDuel points. If he draws the start again tonight, he will be in a great spot against the Magic, who have really struggled against opposing power forwards this season.
Center
Bismack Biyombo (ORL): $5,600 vs. SAC
Bismack Biyombo put up a dud performance the other day in a tough matchup against the Celtics. However, he has been a pretty reliable cash game option outside of that terrible performance while being the starting center for the Magic with Nikola Vucecic still nursing an injury. Tonight he has a decent matchup against the Kings who have not been great against opposing big men this season.
