Welcome to the Tuesday edition of the NBA FanDuel lineup article. We have five games to work with on this first Tuesday of the new year. Let’s go ahead and take a look at my lineup for tonight’s slate.

Point Guard
Dennis Schroder (ATL): $7,700 at PHO
Dennis Schroder is hard to trust sometimes, but there is not a lot of star power at the point guard position on tonight’s slate. Schroder has been solid lately, averaging 39.78 FanDuel points per game over his last four. Tonight he has a great matchup against the Suns who play at one of the quickest paces in the league and who have struggled with defending opposing point guards this season.
Andrew Harrison (MEM): $3,800 at LAC
There is not a lot of value on tonight’s slate at the moment, so we’re really going to have to dig deep. Andrew Harrison has been the starting shooting guard for each of the past 13 games. Over that time frame, Harrison has averaged 25.5 minutes and 20.82 FanDuel points per game. Tonight he has an excellent matchup against the Los Angeles Clippers who allow the most FanDuel points per game to opposing shooting guards.

Shooting Guard
Devin Booker (PHO): $8,000 vs. ATL
Devin Booker returned to action last Tuesday night after missing nine games with an injury. Booker picked up right where he left off, scoring 45, 36.1, and 41 FanDuel points in the three games he has played in the last week. Tonight he has a solid matchup against the Atlanta Hawks who have been awful at defending opposing shooting guards this season.
Garrett Temple (SAC): 4,500 vs. CHA
Another value option who I like tonight is Garrett Temple. Temple is more known for his defensive skills, but he has been scoring a little more lately averaging double-digit real points over his past five games. The matchup is not outstanding by any means, but with his minutes and his activity on defense, he should be a safe cash game option on tonight’s slate.
Small Forward
LeBron James (CLE): $11,500 vs. POR
Isaiah Thomas is making his Cavaliers debut after sitting out the first two and half months of the season with a hip injury. Eventually he will eat into LeBron James’ usage percentage a little bit, but for now Thomas will be coming off the bench until they can ramp up his minutes. If we throw out LeBron’s lone dud performance on Christmas Day, he averaged 58.1 FanDuel points per game in the month of December. The Cavs currently have the highest projected team total on the night. With the return of Damian Lillard on the other side of this matchup, this game should remain close.
T.J. Warren (PHO): $7,500 vs. ATL
T.J. Warren was not great in the nine games that Devin Booker missed, but he has scored 38.5 and 33.1 FanDuel points in his past two games with Booker. Warren’s salary was higher than $8,000 before Booker’s injury, so we should take advantage of his depressed salary before it creeps up again.
Power Forward
Marquese Chriss (PHO): $5,300 vs. ATL
Marquese Chriss earned the starting power forward spot for the Suns at the beginning of December, and it appears he’s starting to figure things out, averaging 28.25 FanDuel points over his past four games. The matchup tonight against the Hawks is not great, but the power forward position is pretty ugly as a whole. Chriss should be a solid cash game option tonight assuming he continues to see between 25 and 30 minutes on the court.
Zach Randolph (SAC): $5,100 vs. CHA
Zach Randolph struggled the other night against the Grizzlies, but the aging veteran had a very strong month of December. Tonight he has a decent matchup against the Hornets who are only middle of the pack against opposing power forwards.
Center
Jusuf Nurkic (POR): $6,500 at CLE
Jusuf Nurkic had one of his better performances of the season last night with 45 FanDuel points. I know he benefited from a few additional minutes from the overtime period, but he still would have had a really solid night without the additional five minutes. Nurkic was already a solid rebounder, but he has seen his involvement in the Trail Blazer’s offense increase with at least 10 shot attempts in each of his past 18 games.
