Two days ago, the large main slate ended with cash lines around 270 because a number of highly owned players busted including a trio of in-game injuries. Hopefully this slate will be much easier on us, but constructing a lineup for it has been a bit of a challenge. There is not much in the realm of star power tonight. Only John Wall, Andre Drummond and Nikola Jokic are priced in the five-figures. Likewise, there isn’t much of anything in terms of safe cash game value plays. With that all that said, there are plenty of mid-range plays who should hit value so that is where I’ve found the majority of my lineup. Let’s take a look.

Point Guard
Goran Dragic (MIA): $7,500 @ BKN
Typically, we want to reserve Dragic for GPP contests, but with Tyler Johnson and Dion Waiters out, he should see bonkers usage and 35+ minutes. When that happens against the Nets, or any team close to them, you’ve got to take advantage and stick the man in your lineup. We’ve got 7x upside from Dragic tonight and I can’t see him finishing under 30 FanDuel points.

Darren Collison (IND): $5,300 @ LAL
If you are looking for consistency, you’ve come to the right player. Collison has hit 19.6 FanDuel points in each of his last 8 games and has been over 5x value in 7 of the past 10. The Lakers are among the league’s worst defenses, and with Lonzo Ball‘s length out of the lineup, Collison should capitalize for another 5x value performance.
Shooting Guard
Tyreke Evans (MEM): $8,800 vs SAC
Marc Gasol is expected to be back in the lineup tonight after missing with the flu Wednesday night. If you haven’t had the flu or known someone with the flu this year, let me tell you, it is extremely bad. If you think Gasol will play his full minutes and at the same level of production, you are mistaken. Evans will see a heavy usage rate again this evenin and now has 40+ FanDuel points in 10 out of 12 contests and should settle there once again this evening.
Josh Hart (LAL): $4,500 vs IND
I just mentioned that Lonzo is out, but so is Kentavius Caldwell-Pope. This should lead to Hart seeing 25 to 35 minutes off the bench this evening. When he has done that this year, he has given fantasy owners the following FanDuel point totals:
- 21.6
- 27.1
- 37.7
- 21.6
- 24.2
- 29.5
- 27.8
- 31
There are plenty of strong plays at shooting guard from Will Barton and Gary Harris to Victor Oladipo and Wayne Ellington, but don’t even hesitate to plug Hart in this evening. It should be a high-scoring back and forth game and we might just see Hart’s ceiling in it.
Small Forward
TJ Warren (PHO): $6,700 @ DEN
Now be careful here because Warren missed the last two games and is still listed as questionable. Granted, he is expected to play, but it never hurts to monitor lineups for late scratches. Prior to his injury, Warren had been breaking out in a major way, posting 29 points or more in 10 of his past 11 games including four games in that time period of 40+. This game has a 219 over/under so there should be plenty of fireworks and as always, you can anticipate Warren being near the heart of it all.
Josh Richardson (MIA): $6,000 @ BKN
It is too easy to pick on the Nets, but if you plan on cashing, you’d better get used to doing it each and every opportunity you have. It helps that Richardson has been the epitome of consistency this season. He hasn’t posted fewer than 20 FanDuel points in any game since early December and has reached 5x value in 12 out of the 17 contests. There is little doubt that he’ll be able to achieve it once again in this evening’s juicy matchup.
Power Forward
Domantas Sabonis (IND): $6,000 @ LAL
If you haven’t noticed, the Lakers are abysmal against big men, ranking 30th in DVP this season. It helps Sabonis even further that Myles Turner is still out. While the Pacers’ power forward isn’t much of an upside play, he never busts and is as safe as you’ll find to hit that 5x value this evening at what was the toughest position to find reliability.
JaMychal Green (MEM): $5,200 vs SAC
I mentioned earlier that Gasol is recovering from this year’s nasty flu bug. Green stepped up admirably Wednesday night with 18 points and 13 rebounds for over 8x value for the second time in four games. While his price jumped a bit and Gasol’s likely return to the lineup will limited Green a bit, he is still quite safe to get 25+ again tonight.
Center
Nikola Jokic (DEN): $10,000 vs PHO
We’ve got to spend money somewhere, and while there is some appeal to Hassan Whiteside, Julius Randle and Bam Adebayo, they are all far too risky. Jokic has a great matchup against the Suns and this up-tempo game should be very high-scoring. He has let us down in a few games over the past few weeks, but he rarely busts in top-notch matchups like we have tonight. 60+ is a distinct possibility here.
