After a wild nine-game Monday night NBA slate that was full of injury news, value options and high DFS scores, Tuesday feels like a big letdown. The Tuesday NBA slate only has five games on tap and very limited injury news to monitor and prepare for. The slate does, however, have some star-power on it with teams like the Warriors, Cavaliers, Thunder, Spurs and Celtics taking the hardwood. The Tuesday slate also has some fairly high Vegas totals with all five games sporting a Vegas total of 208 or higher. The key to roster construction on DraftKings should be to jam in as many PGs as possible.

Stephen Curry (PG/SG – GS): $10,500 vs NY
If we are going to roster as many PGs as possible on DK then we need to take advantage of roster flexibility with a multi-position eligible PG at the SG slot. Stephen Curry fits that description perfectly. He will face a Knicks team that has allowed the 11th most DK points per game to opposing PGs this season and has scored at least 44 DK points in nine of his last 10 games. Curry is the best SG eligible option on the slate.
Core Plays
Kyrie Irving (PG – BOS): $8,900 @ LAL
Kyrie Irving is coming off of a huge 40-point outburst in his last game against the Magic on Sunday and gets another plus matchup on Tuesday against the Lakers. The Lakers have allowed the seventh most FD points per game to opposing PGs this season. Irving offers a reasonable salary and should see close to 40 minutes in what should be a close game with the Lakers in L.A.

LaMarcus Aldridge (PF/C – SA): $8,700 vs CLE
The Spurs have a long list of players who will be out for Tuesday’s matchup with the Cavaliers including Kawhi Leonard, Rudy Gay, Pau Gasol and Manu Ginobili. With so many players out, the Spurs’ offense should run through Aldridge even more often than usual, as Aldridge sees a 3.8% usage increase with that collection of players off the court this season. If you are paying up for a big man on Tuesday, Aldridge is your guy.
Steven Adams (C – OKC): $6,800 vs BKN
I want to get some exposure to the Thunder in their up-tempo matchup against the Nets. Russell Westbrook, Paul George and Carmelo Anthony are all viable options but Steven Adams peaked my interest due to his sensational play recently with four straight double-doubles while averaging 18.3 points and 11.0 rebounds during that stretch. He also gets a favorable matchup against the Nets who have allowed the second most FD points to opposing centers this season while Adams posted a double-double with 12 points and 14 rebounds in a meeting with the Nets earlier this season.
Bogdan Bogdanovic (SG/SF – SAC): $5,500 @ ORL
Bogdan Bogdanovic has become a consistent scorer for the Kings. He has reached double figures in points in 10 straight games while topping 25 DK points in each of his last eight outings. Bogdanovic walks into a favorable matchup in Orlando against a Magic team that has allowed the third most DK points to opposing SGs this season. A pivot to teammate Buddy Hield if you need to save a few bucks is also a viable option in a plus matchup.
Value Plays
De’Aaron Fox (PG – SAC): $5,200 @ ORL
Staying with the Kings their recent movement to playing their young players more by resting the veterans should be very relevant on Tuesday as the Kings play in the second game of a back-to-back. Fox has played at least 30 minutes in eight of his last 10 games since returning from injury and increase fantasy production has followed averaging 13.6 points, 6.2 assists and 1.3 steals during that stretch. His salary remains reasonable for a player that has exceeded 5x this current salary in seven of his last 10 games and has a favorable matchup against the Magic who have allowed the second most DK points to opposing PGs this season.
Dejounte Murray (PG – SA): $4,600 vs CLE
Dejounte Murray was inserted in the starting lineup in the previous game and is expected to continue in that role moving forward. Murray has been a pleasant surprise on the glass over the last three games with at least seven boards in each outing to help give him a solid floor despite only averaging 7.0 points per game during that stretch. His rebound number should remain solid on Tuesday with Pau Gasol out and he could have some scoring upside in a matchup against the Cavaliers who have given up the third most DK points to opposing PGs this season.
Skal Labissiere (PF/C – SAC): $4,400 @ ORL
Skal Labissiere is another part of the Kings youth movement and is coming off a big game on Monday with 23 points against the Hornets. He has played at least 28 minutes in each of his last three games and should get similar run again on Tuesday with the Kings playing in the second game of a back-to-back. Be sure to watch the inactives for the Kings’ big men leading up to tipoff.
Davis Bertans (SF/PF – SA): $3,700 vs CLE
Davis Bertans’ fantasy production is all over the map from a 28-point outing against the Kings earlier this month to three straight games of single-digit scoring in his last three outings. Bertans should get the opportunity for a solid game on Tuesday as the Spurs will be without Pau Gasol. His minutes should climb into the mid-20s and he has a plus matchup against the Cavaliers who have allowed the third most three-pointers to opposing PFs this season, which is Bertans’ specialty.
