Nine games greet us for Wednesday and it’s shaping up to be an exciting slate. There are a couple of games that carry blowout risk, but there are a lot of fantasy-friendly matchups looming as well. Let’s look at a tournament lineup for FanDuel tonight.

Point Guard
Russell Westbrook (OKC): $11,200 @ IND
The Thunder continue to be a hot mess overall, but it’s certainly not for a lack of production from Westbrook. While there’s likely going to continue being a debate over whether or not the team can thrive with Westbrook alongside Paul George and Carmelo Anthony, there’s no debating Westbrook’s fantasy value. This is a decent matchup in a game that should feature plenty of fantasy goodness, so be sure to lock in Westbrook’s high floor and ceiling tonight.
Austin Rivers (LAC): $6,200 @ ORL
Rivers has logged at least 32 minutes in each of the last four games, and eight out of the last nine, so playing time shouldn’t be an issue this evening. This is a boost in pace for the Clippers and the individual matchup is a decent one for Rivers, who needs around 30 FDP to hit value. He’s got upside of six times his current salary in this game, making him a fine tournament option this evening.

Other Notables:
Shooting Guard
Victor Oladipo (IND): $10,000 vs. OKC
Oladipo continues to play at a torrid pace, as he is coming off of a 69.4 FDP outing on Sunday against the Nuggets. He stands to keep things rolling tonight at home against his former team in a game that is pegged as a close one. While this pace is unlikely to be sustained over the long haul, he’s worth targeting until further notice.
Khris Middleton (MIL): $7,400 @ NO
The Pelicans can be attacked on the wing and with Middleton a lock to play minutes in the upper-30s, he stands out as a solid midrange option. This is a pace up game for the Bucks on the road, and he provides solid exposure to the Bucks without having to break the bank.
Other Notables:
Small Forward
Paul George (OKC): $7,600 @ IND
Revenge! George returns to Indianapolis tonight to face his old team tonight in a game that could be a good one to target for fantasy purposes. While George only scored 26.5 FDP in his return Monday, he did log 33 minutes, which was encouraging to see. He should be able to build upon that outing and I love him in tournament play as a result.
Michael Kidd-Gilchrist (CHA): $4,800 @ HOU
This is the type of game environment in which Kidd-Gilchrist should thrive, as it features two teams ranked inside the top 10 in terms of pace. The result is a projected total of 220.5 points right now, but it’s worth noting that the Hornets are double-digit underdogs. Still, Kidd-Gilchrist’s ability to multiple statistical categories makes him a high upside tournament play tonight.
Other Notables:
Power Forward
Trey Lyles (DEN): $4,300 @ BOS
Lyles has been seeing extended run with Nikola Jokic on the shelf, and he possesses upside of seven to eight times his current salary tonight. This is a weak spot for the Celtics, who have been otherwise pretty stout defensively. There’s some concern with Denver on the second half of a back to back, but the salary relief is too meaningful to pass up this evening.
Montrezl Harrell (LAC): $4,300 vs. MIN
It sure would be nice to see Harrell get more playing time, as he’s been efficient when on the floor (1.08 FDP/min). He needs right around 21 FDP to hit value at this price, which he should be able to flirt with if he can see around 20 minutes of playing time. This is a plus matchup against a poor rebounding team, so look to Harrell as a solid source of savings when constructing your rosters.
Other Notables:
Center
Aron Baynes (BOS): $3,600 vs. DEN
Don’t overthink this one, as Baynes is stepping into starter’s minutes for near minimum salary. Baynes is averaging 0.80 FDP/min on the season, which leaves him needing around 24 minutes of playing time to hit value. The matchup is also a plus one with Nikola Jokic on the shelf, making Baynes a strong value across all formats tonight.
