We’ve got an eight-game slate on tap for FanDuel NBA Saturday, and plenty of stars to choose from with five players priced in the five digits, including a showdown between James Harden and The Alphabet in a game that has the highest over/under at 221.5. Will they be on the squad tonight? Let’s take a look.

Point Guards
Russell Westbrook (OKC): $11,100 @ NY
Coming off a triple-overtime game the following night would be a concern for most, but not for Russ. Of the four highest-priced players, Westbrook undoubtedly has the best matchup against the Knicks who rank 25th against point guards, and have been exposed by Spencer Dinwiddie and Lonzo Ball in two straight. I’ll be firing up Russ for the second straight night and bypassing the Harden-Giannis showdown as well as LeBron vs. the Jazz.

Dejounte Murray (SA): $3,600 v. DAL
Tony Parker and Kawhi Leonard will both be rested on the second half of the back-to-back which means that it’s time to fire up Dejounte Murray who is averaging 37.25 points in his last two starts for Parker.
Shooting Guards
Andrew Wiggins (MIN): $6,300 v. PHO
Wiggins can be infuriating most of the time because he basically does nothing except score points (real basketball points), but he’s a notorious Suns killer. He’s gone for at least 34 points in four straight games against the Suns including a 37-pointer his last time out against them. The Suns rank near the bottom in defending SGs.
Dion Waiters (MIA): $5,300 v. LAC
Josh Richardson was the big beneficiary of Justise Winslow‘s absence last night, but Dion Waiters still had a nice game with 29.8 points at $5,100. Now he gets the Clippers who rank 29th against SGs after allowing a huge game to Bradley Beal on Friday.
Small Forwards
Michael Kidd-Gilchrist (CHA): $5,400 @ POR
MKG has really benefited from Cody Zeller‘s injury, and is still averaging 30 points per game and 1.02 points per minute over his last three despite a clunker last night. Look for him to bounce-back in the second half of the back-to-back in a matchup against the 30th ranked Blazers defense against SFs.
Joe Ingles (UTA): $4,900 @ CLE
This is a bit of a “he fits in my lineup” kind of play, but I’m not looking to take Waiters and Richardson so Ingles it is. Rudy Gobert‘s absence should help again as Ingles had settled into the low to mid-20s range since he came back. Maybe he can get back up to those upper-20s or low-30s. It also helps that the Cavs don’t defend much of anyone.
Power Forwards
Kristaps Porzingis (NYK): $9,700 v. OKC
Assuming he plays, of course, Porzingis will get a great matchup with the Thunder after leaving last night’s game in Brooklyn. I’m guessing that he guts it out, and am already playing a tight game between these two with the Westbrook pick so Porzingis should get his as well if that’s the case against a Thunder defense that rates poorly against PFs. I still remember that game against the Magic in which the Thunder let up over 70 points to Aaron Gordon. This is a team that really struggles against the position, and Porzingis had been red-hot before his injury-shortened game last night.
Derrick Favors (UTA): $4,900 @ CLE
Favors has seen his price fall all the way below $5,000 since Rudy Gobert‘s return, but it looks like Gobert is going to miss some time once again. Favors also left last night’s game with an eye injury, but I’m expecting that he plays which would make him a chalk play at his discounted price sans Gobert. Favors had been living in the 30s and 40s during Gobert’s most recent absence. Of course, make sure to keep an eye on his playing status though.
Center
Dwight Howard (CHA): $8,800 @ POR
It’s tough to pass up Karl-Anthony Towns with the way he’s been playing, and the excellent matchup against the Suns. However, the blowout potential scares me off a bit even though Coach Thibs still seems to play his starters heavy minutes in blowout situations. Regardless, $10,600 is still a whole lot for Towns.
Dwight Howard is about $2,000 cheaper and gets the Blazers who rank 29th against centers. Howard only had 37 points last night against the Heat at an elevated $9,200 price tag, but had 54 in his last game at $8,800 in Houston two games ago.
That’s going to do it. Best of luck.
