One night after cheap value options were everywhere you looked on a big 10-game Monday slate, finding cheap value options on Tuesday’s mini three-game slate is like finding a needle in a haystack. Unless we get some surprise late scratches, which it seems like we usually do, it is going to be difficult to fit in one, let alone two, of the desirable high-priced studs that headline the Tuesday slate.
Note that some of the stats referenced in this article are my custom DvP calculations that combine both season and last five games data along with blending similar positions production allowed together.

Joel Embiid (C – PHI): $9,900 vs SAC
Tuesday’s list of premier players reads like an All-Star game starting lineup despite only three games with LeBron James, Giannis Antetokoumpo, DeMarcus Cousins, Anthony Davis and Joel Embiid. They are all strong plays, especially James and Antetokounmpo squaring off against each other but on a night without much value every penny counts so I’ll roll with the cheapest option, Embiid, assuming he plays after getting a rest day on the first game of a back-to-back on Monday. He gets a plus matchup against the Kings who have allowed increased production in points, rebounds, assists and steals to opposing centers.

Core Plays
Kevin Love (PF/C – CLE): $7,800 @ MIL
Kevin Love has scored more DraftKings points than LeBron James in the two previous meetings with the Bucks this season. In those two games, Love is averaging 24.5 points and 14.0 rebounds. The Bucks have allowed increased production to opposing centers in points (+14.7%) and rebounds (+2.7%). Love, not James is the best points per dollar option on the Cavaliers for Tuesday night.
Bradley Beal (SG – WAS): $7,700 vs NO
The best way to attack the Pelicans is on the perimeter and the Wizards have one of the best backcourts in the league to take advantage. While John Wall has returned from injury, he is still foregoing the primary scoring role to Bradley Beal who has scored 18 or more points in seven straight games including a 27-point outing in his last game. The Pelicans have allowed the sixth most DK points to opposing SGs including the second most three-pointers per game.
Jrue Holiday (PG/SG – NO): $7,100 @ WAS
On the other side of the court, Jrue Holiday has been on fire for the Pelicans with over 36 DK points in six of his last seven games. Outside of DeMarcus Cousins and Anthony Davis, Holiday is the most consistent fantasy option on the court for the Pelicans and comes with a very reasonable price given his recent production. Of course, if one of the big two doesn’t suite up or gets hurt during the game (I’m looking at you Davis), then Holiday’s usage goes up even higher.
Eric Bledsoe (PG/SG – MIL): $6,700 vs CLE
Eric Bledsoe wasn’t on the Bucks for either of the two earlier season matchups against the Cavaliers, so I’m interested to see how he responds to the matchup. My suspicion is that he looks to assert himself more on the offensive end. In two games against the Cavaliers last year, while on the Suns, Bledsoe averaged 26.5 points and 8.5 assists per game. While his role is different with the Bucks, the Cavaliers do struggle against opposing PGs allowing the ninth most DK points per game to the position.
Value Plays
Dwyane Wade (PG/SG – CLE): $4,800 @ MIL
I am going with a hunch on this selection of Dwyane Wade. He has been solid but unspectacular recently and is only playing around 20-25 minutes a night but he could bring a little extra juice to the arena on Tuesday in a return to Milwaukee where he played college ball at Marquette and is a short drive from Chicago where he grew up. He has shown the ability to flash his upside at times this season and Tuesday feels like it could be one of those times.
Kelly Oubre (SG/SF – WAS): $4,700 vs NO
With Otto Porter questionable for Tuesday’s game against the Pelicans it could be an opportunity for Kelly Oubre to step up his minutes and fantasy production. Oubre has been solid this season and had topped 22 DK points in six of his last seven games which puts him around 5x his salary.
George Hill (PG/SG – SAC): $4,600 @ PHI
George Hill has played at least 28 minutes in each of his last three games and produced with at least 16 points and three assists in each of those games. De’Aaron Fox has missed all or part of the last two games with a quad injury so even if he does return on Tuesday he will likely see limited minutes. Hill also gets a boost in points (+7.7%) and assists (+8.0%) in his matchup against the Sixers.
Bogdan Bogdanovic (SG/SF – SAC): $4,300 @ PHI
Rounding out the value plays with another Kings’ player, Bogdan Bogdanovic, who has been hot from three-point range over his last four games hitting 13-of-26 (50%) while playing at least 29 minutes in each game. Meanwhile, he will face a Sixers’ defense that has allowed the fourth highest three-point percentage to opposing SGs over their last five games. Bogdanovic for three!
