Fantasy Football Week 11 Flex Favorites

Fantasy Football Week 11 Flex Favorites

If you’re reading this, then you are probably hoping for quality flex advice. The idea with this article is to make those tricky flex debates a little easier. A flex player is a player not in the top 60 players according to FantasyPros Flex Week 11 Rankings in half-point PPR leagues as of Wednesday.

I decided to go with the no players in the top 60 to target 12-team leagues that start two running backs and three wide receivers (five players x 12 teams = 60 players). The players below will only be running backs or wide receivers since these are the two most common positions that fill the flex spot. If you don’t have any of the players below or are facing your own flex lineup decisions and need some help, then ask me on Twitter @mitchellrenz365.

Nelson Agholor (WR – PHI) @DAL
The last two weeks have been disappointing for Agholor, but the Eagles simply didn’t need him against the then 0-8 49ers and then a Broncos team that has totally collapsed. Before those two games, Agholor scored a touchdown in three straight games. The Cowboys will be without Sean Lee. In the three games where Lee has not played this season, the Cowboys are allowing an average of 32 points a game. Agholor will find the end zone in Dallas this week.

Latavius Murray (RB – MIN) vs. LAR
In the last three Vikings games, Murray has over 17 carries and four straight games with over 15 carries. The Vikings went out and traded for Murray in the offseason for a reason, and I think he is the starting running back for the Vikings going forward. The Vikings defense is better at home which should lead to a favorable game script for Murray in this favorable matchup against a Rams defense who is giving up the fifth-most fantasy points to running backs this season.

Davante Adams (WR – GB) vs. BAL
Adams is the best real life and fantasy football wide receiver for the Green Bay Packers. He is easily Brett Hundley‘s favorite target, and, believe it or not, he is averaging 15.5 fantasy points without Aaron Rodgers this season. He has scored double-digit fantasy points in four of those weeks showing he has a safe floor. The Ravens are the second-best defense at allowing points to wide receivers, so the matchup won’t be good, but Adams has proven to be a solid flex play.

James White (RB – NE) @OAK
I’m playing the roulette wheel that is the Patriots running backs, but there has been a safe and consistent player for fantasy owners and that’s White. The last three games he has scored double-digit fantasy points, and he has scored double-digit fantasy points in six of nine games this season. White is reliable because of his 46 receptions, which is the second-highest total among running backs in the NFL. A matchup against the fourth-worst team against running backs makes White a solid flex play.

Ted Ginn (WR – NO) vs. WAS
I was wrong on Ginn last week, I will admit that. But if you would have told me the Saints scored 47 points and Drew Brees didn’t throw a single passing touchdown, I would say you’re crazy. But the Saints had 298 rushing yards and six touchdowns so they didn’t need to pass. Heck, the Saints even ran the ball 24 straight times on Sunday. Before last week Ginn was averaging 15.7 points a week over the past four weeks. In a game that I expect to be higher scoring, I think the Saints will have to use Ginn. As a top target on a high-powered offense like the Saints, Ginn makes a viable flex option.

Hopefully, these players allow you to flex your fantasy flex muscles unlike my Week 10 Favorites.
