Q1. Give us your thoughts on a waiver wire target (or two) you especially like as a pickup.

“My favorite target is Corey Coleman, but with the impending return of Josh Gordon, I’m a tad less excited about him (not to mention he still plays for the Browns). That said, he is seeing a lot of targets and producing regardless of who is throwing him the ball. I would be willing to spend about $15 of your FAAB. Just as a bonus Charles Clay is a close second on the list and could easily be No. 1 if you are a team who needs TE help. I would put the same $15 on him as well.”
– Joe Bond (Fantasy Six Pack)

“If Corey Coleman is still available in your league, you’ve got to spend your entire budget to make sure you acquire him. Through four starts now, he is still averaging 8 targets per game and anytime you can find that kind of volume in a player as talented as Coleman, he becomes a must-start each week. An under the radar pickup I love is James Conner. You can get him for $1 FAAB and while he most likely won’t play any week for you, he has championship-winning 20 touch per game upside in a great offense if Le’Veon Bell gets injured.”
– Bobby Sylvester (FantasyPros)

“It’s still Rod Smith for me in reasons pointed out last week, however, if you have room for another, Dede Westbrook is building a relationship with Blake Bortles. He saw a team-high 10 targets in their Week 12 loss to the Cardinals. That’s now 16 targets in the last two games after missing the first 10 weeks to injury. It’s always a risky proposition starting a wide receiver attached to Bortles, but if you need lightning in a bottle for the fantasy playoffs, he may be your guy. With that being said, don’t spend more than 1-2 dollars to get him, as he comes with serious risk.”
– Mike Tagliere (FantasyPros)

“One of my favorite waiver wire targets for week 13 is Dede Westbrook; he is only owned in 17% of leagues but he is getting a ton of targets recently. He could easily break out next week and I would be willing to spend up to 5% of my FAAB budget on him. He is still under the radar enough now that you don’t have to overspend.”

Q2. For owners renting a D/ST in Week 13, what readily available option (under 40%) should they target and why?

“Whenever streaming a defense, just search for the Browns and pick up whoever they’re playing. This week just happens to be the Chargers, who have one of the best pass rushes in football. Combine that with the fact that the Browns have allowed four or more sacks in four of their last six games, and you have the floor you’re looking for in a streamer.”
– Mike Tagliere (FantasyPros)

“The Chargers have to be the defense to scoop up this week if they are still available. Not only have they been playing great the last few weeks, they get the Browns who give up the most points to opposing defenses. Honestly, the Chargers are not just a streaming defense this week, you can make the switch to them the rest of the season. ”
– Joe Bond (Fantasy Six Pack)

“While the Los Angeles Chargers haven’t exactly been the most consistent fantasy performer, they are a top-five fantasy defense so far this season. They can be played most weeks and when they get an offense like the Browns, who are quite possibly the easiest opponent for fantasy purposes, they ought to be regarded as a top-three option on the week. They get after the quarterback as well as anyone besides Jacksonville and might just have the top cornerback in all of football with Casey Heyward.”
– Bobby Sylvester (FantasyPros)

“The Los Angeles Chargers are the easy streaming defense selection for Week 13 against the Browns.”
– James Hatfield (Hatty Waiver Wire Guru)
