We have a 14-game slate to work with before the NBA takes a break for Thanksgiving. With a large player pool to select from, there should be all sorts of unique ways to build lineups tonight, especially with plenty of studs in action. This article was written very early to accommodate holiday schedules, so be sure to monitor the news leading up to lineup lock as things surely can and will change by then. Let’s look at a tournament lineup for FanDuel tonight.

Point Guard
Kyrie Irving (BOS): $8,000 @ MIA
C’mon, man! Well, it took a month, but I finally had to say it. Irving is coming off of a masterful 47-point outing against Dallas on Monday in which he wound up with 59.6 FDP, yet his price went down $500. I understand that this is a less than ideal situation against Miami, but it’s not bad enough to dissuade me from taking a discount after a nearly 60-FDP outing just one game ago.
Eric Bledsoe (MIL): $6,400 @ PHO
Oh boy, here we go. Bledsoe returns to Phoenix where he surely will be greeted with some hostility and this is all about playing the revenge narrative. Bledsoe’s minutes and production have been all over the place with his new team, but he’s flashed 40+ FDP upside twice through six games. This is a juicy matchup with a juicy narrative wrapped around it, and you can be sure I’ll have a lineup or two with Bledsoe in it as a result.

Other Notables:
Shooting Guard
James Harden (HOU): $11,600 vs. DEN
Harden has scored at least 50 FDP in eight straight games, while he’s eclipsed 65 FDP three times over that span. That combination of floor and ceiling is tough to pass on, especially with a phenomenal matchup on deck against Denver. Harden is averaging nearly 38 points per game this month, and he’s shown no signs of letting up even with the return of Chris Paul.
Tyreke Evans (MEM): $7,500 vs. DAL
Evans should continue to help shoulder the scoring load with Mike Conley on the shelf and despite his salary being inflated, I still think he’s worth targeting. While his price is on the high end of his spectrum, his value threshold of 35 FDP isn’t out of the realm, as he’s flashed 40 FDP upside on a few occasions this season.
Other Notables:
Small Forward
Paul George (OKC): $8,500 vs. GS
This is a boost in pace for the Thunder in what should be a high-scoring, hopefully competitive game. If Kevin Durant returns to the lineup, it would certainly increase the odds of a blowout, but I still think George would be a viable play. George has looked strong for the most part this month, as he’s averaging nearly 43 FDP per game in November. With a couple of extra possessions above his average likely on deck, he should easily find a way to eclipse 40 FDP tonight.
Wesley Johnson (LAC): $4,600 @ ATL
Johnson is the first of what will wind up being several speculative plays, but that’s what you need to do sometimes in tournament play. He should be good for 30 minutes of playing time with Danilo Gallinari still on the shelf, and the veteran has flashed his potential over the last three games. While a 50 FDP outing likely isn’t in the cards, I don’t think 25-30 FDP is an unreasonable expectation tonight against the Hawks.
Other Notables:
Power Forward
Noah Vonleh (POR): $3,500 @ PHI
Vonleh returned to the starting lineup on Monday and promptly scored 42.1 FDP in 30 minutes of action against Memphis. While this type of production isn’t likely to be sustained over the long haul, I don’t mind targeting him as a source of salary relief. The floor is obviously low, but I think he may have earned himself 20-25 minutes of playing time against the Sixers.
Kenneth Faried (DEN): $3,300 @ HOU
Faried should see a bump in playing time with Paul Millsap on the shelf, and this is a good matchup for him to take advantage of against the Rockets. Always a solid per-minute producer, I think we can reasonably expect 20 minutes of court time, which should allow him enough opportunities to pay off his near minimum salary.
Other Notables:
Center
Brook Lopez (LAL): $6,300 @ SAC
The Kings are a poor defensive team as well as the worst rebounding team in the league, so I don’t mind going off the grid a bit with Lopez. The veteran has been tough to pinpoint on this young team, but he has strung together consecutive strong outings. At this price, you’re looking for right around 30 FDP to hit value, and I think that’s within the realm of possibility in a prime matchup.
