Tonight’s big 12-game slate was a blast to build a lineup for, but also a headache. There are so many quality value plays and stars going tonight, that you’ll be forced to fade some exceptional options from DeMarcus Cousins and Lauri Markkanen to Jaylen Brown and David Nwaba who are all primed to hit value. With that said, it means you will walk away thrilled with your lineup. You’ll likely need to hit 320 points tonight to double-up. Let’s take a look at how I plan to do it.

Point Guard
Russell Westbrook (OKC): $10,600 vs BOS
Westbrook has been a bit of a disappointment this season and is coming off a 33.5 FanDuel point performance along with two games in a row of under 30 minutes, plus the matchup against Boston isn’t ideal. What we have here, however, is a stellar price on one of the games best. While there are terrific options galore at every other position this evening, finding value at point guard will prove to be extremely difficult, so I’m playing it safe and banking on Westbrook to hit his season average in a big game against the Celtics.

Shelvin Mack (ORL): $5,000 vs CHI
With Elfrid Payton out, Mack has stepped in to perform sufficiently for the Magic. Now that D.J. Augustin joins him on the bench, Mack should see his season-high in minutes and is a strong bet to hit 5x or even 6x value. Additionally, Jerian Grant and this Chicago Bulls team haven’t done much in the way of slowing down point guards.
Shooting Guard
Victor Oladipo (IND): $7,200 @ PHI
If Myles Turner somehow ends up playing, as we’ve seen happen with several doubtful players already this season, I’d be forced to reconsider here, but assuming all continues as expected, Oladipo is a no-brainer. With Turner out of the lineup, his usage rate has soared so we should see another 25 point performance with a handful of assists against the weak-defending J.J. Reddick.
Kent Bazemore (ATL): $5,800 vs HOU
Surprise surprise, Bazemore is back in my lineup, and why not? He has been hitting value each and every night with no fewer than 26 points in his last five games. Whether it happens from steals and assists or from Bazemore knocking down some jumpers, you know what you are going to get, and tonight, we are looking at a quality ceiling as well against Eric Gordon.
Small Forward
Brandon Ingram (LAL): $5,900 vs BRK
With Gordon Hayward out, the Celtics are among the worst teams at defending the small forward position. Add that to the fact that the over/under tonight is 227.5 in a close game and that Ingram has been turning it on lately, and he is close to a must-play this evening against a terrible-defending Nets’ squad.
Taurean Prince (ATL): $5,900 vs HOU
This is simple, really: Over his past three games, Prince has compiled 107.1 FanDuel points and hit value each game. You don’t fade a player on that kind of run, and especially not when they will be playing in an up-tempo game against a defense that frankly doesn’t put forth much effort.
Power Forward
Domantas Sabonis (IND): $5,600 @ PHI
Power forward may be the most difficult position of the night because there are so many options. With that said, Sabonis is the best play of the night at any position. Myles Turner should be out again, and Sabonis has really excelled of late with 38.4, 34.7 and 44.4 FanDuel points over his last three games. We can expect another double-double tonight in a high-scoring close game.
Kyle Kuzma (LAL): $4,700 vs BRK
I can’t figure out for the life of me why Kuzma’s price isn’t $6,000 or more. He has scored at least 20 FanDuel points in 7 of his 8 contests this year and has been getting better as time moves along. Kuzma is coming off a 22 point performance and should see near 30 minutes tonight in the up-tempo matchup against the Nets’ abysmal defense.
Center
Joel Embiid (PHI): $9,300
Saying no to Demarcus Cousins is never easy when he is on a run like this, but saving $2,700 to move down to one of the best players in basketball eases the pain quite a bit. Embiid didn’t practice yesterday so he is expected to see another 30 minutes, and anytime that happens, we can expect 20 and 10. With Turner out of the lineup, the Pacers have to be shaking in fear at what Embiid might do to them.
