Welcome back to the Thursday’s edition FanDuel NBA Lineup Advice! We have a five-game slate this Thursday with the most notable injury, Anthony Davis, listed as doubtful. If you play the late-game swap, get Davis in your lineup. However, for this edition, I’m not playing the swap so this is my lineup for this evening.
Tonight’s point projection totals:
ATL vs. CHI – 200
BOS vs. MIL – 205
DAL vs. MEM – 195
LAC vs. POR – 213
NO vs. SAC – 206

Point Guards
Ian Clark (NO): $4,100 at SAC
Clark has been a steady contributor off the bench for the Pelicans with at nine points in each of his last three games. He’s also cracked 20 plus fantasy points in all of those three games while playing almost 25 minutes per game. Still no Rajon Rondo, Clark has a chance to post 15 plus points against the young Kings squad.
Kay Felder CHI): $3,200 vs. ATL
I’m saying this now that I’m a huge Kay Felder fan on the Bulls as the team is already without Zach LaVine, Kris Dunn and Cameron Payne. For the time being, Felder should see between 15-20 minutes per game and coach Fred Hoiberg has already said he’s impressed with his play. It’s a gamble here but I’m willing to take the risk with studs at my other positions.

Shooting Guards
Marco Belinelli (ATL): $4,800 at CHI
Belinelli seems to be one of the top value plays of the night with a short slate of games but also more opportunities on the offensive end with Dennis Schroder (out, ankle) and Ersan Ilyasova (questionable, knee). Even if Ilyasova plays, I expect Belinelli to improve on his 13.8 points per game this season against the short-handed Bulls.
Austin Rivers (LAC): $4,900 at POR
Rivers got the start in the previous game with Milos Teodosic out with an injury and he played well with 16 points in 34 minutes. With another plus matchup and no Teodosic, Rivers will be in a good spot to post 15 plus points in this game. Also, trade rumors are circulating around Eric Bledsoe and Austin Rivers swap, so the team could be showcasing him also. Rivers is a solid value play.
Small Forwards
Giannis Antetokounmpo (MIL): $12.400 vs. BOS
Antetokounmpo is one of if not the top play of the evening with Anthony Davis (questionable). He’s currently averaging a league-best 36.8 points per game to go along with 10.8 rebounds and 5.3 assists per game this season. The “Greek Freak” is also shooting an incredible 66 percent from the floor this season. PLAY YOUR STUDS!
Jaylen Brown (BOS): $6,300 at MIL
With both Marcus Smart and Gordon Hayward out, Brown and others have been asked to step up and do more. Brown has certainly provided the extra scoring the team needs with two-star players out. He has at least 24 fantasy points in each game this season while averaging 18.8 points per game.
Power Forwards
Lauri Markkanen (CHI): $6,500 vs. ATL
After the brawl between Bobby Portis and Nikola Mirotic, Markkanen was the only PF left on the Bulls roster who could start in their absence and now he’s running away with the starting job. He’s averaging 27.8 fantasy points per game while posting at least 13 points and eight boards in all three games including one double-double against the Spurs. Get him in your lineup with Portis and Mirotic still out.
John Collins (ATL): $5,700 at CHI
Another young rookie stud who continues to play well with the absence of key veterans like Ersan Ilyasova. Ilyasova is questionable but even if he plays Collins is still the preferred play in all leagues. Collins has also posted back-to-back double-doubles against the Nets and Heat while averaging only 19.5 minutes per game. He’s a solid value play as you look to fill your lineup.
Center
DeMarcus Cousins (NO): $11,800 at SAC
#revengegame. There was no way I was leaving out Cousins against the Kings. The complete blindside trade last season to NOLA left Cousins in shock and this game is one he’s circled on his calendar for sure. To make things better, Anthony Davis is questionable for this game so Cousins is a must-start regardless.
