Andy is our Beat the Expert champion after fending off 14 other featured experts, including runner ups Chris Wesseling from Rotoworld and Justin Sablich from The New York Times. These three experts beat out over 90% of the field during their respective featured weeks. Andy was the top expert in our Week 16 Championship, finishing in the top 15% out of 1,348 entries. This follows up his top 1.2% showing earlier this season, and his top 7.7% showing last year. And he’s not just a salary cap stud, he was our most accurate overall expert from 2009 and #3 in 2010. Nice job all around, Andy.
FantasyPros will donate $1,000 to GCFD on Andy’s behalf. Another $1,000 will be split among the chosen charities of our other top experts.
It feels great to be able to support so many worthy causes, and we sincerely thank all our featured experts for carving out time to contribute to the effort. We also want to thank to our sponsor FanDuel who helped us give away over $50,000 in prizes to you, our loyal FantasyPros fans.
We also wrapped up our other weekly contest, the Start/Sit Challenge. Thousands of you took the challenge and we’ve recorded all your results for the season. Just enter your email address and then click on the “YTD” link to see your results for each week. You can compare your score to the average for all contestants and to each of the experts we track.
We hope these contests were fun and rewarding. We plan on building some major enhancements, so if you like these competitions you’ll love what we have in store for you for next season (or maybe even for fantasy baseball)! Keep in touch with us on Facebook and Twitter to stay informed.
Happy Holidays!
