Devonta Freeman with a solid performance in overtime loss

by Justin Dade | Sun, Nov 1st 4:50pm EST

Devonta Freeman carried the ball 21 times for 88 yards and added six catches for 43 yards in the Falcons loss to Tampa Bay. Even though Freeman didn't find the end zone for the second straight week, 131 total yards on the day is very respectable. The Falcons offense struggled severely again with turnovers, and it definitely cost Freeman some chances to find the end zone.

Fantasy Impact:

Freeman has slowed down a little bit here over the last few weeks, but it would have been nearly impossible to keep up his early season pace. The Falcons offense just hasn't been clicking the last few weeks, and it's hurting Freeman's red zone opportunities. The good news is rookie back Tevin Coleman has yet to take many touches away from him. Freeman will try to get back on track next week against a struggling 49ers defense.
