During his news conference today, Chip Kelly announced that G.J. Kinne is now officially a wide receiver, after entering the NFL in 2012 as a quarterback. (Jeff McLane on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
The Eagles QB meeting room gets a bit roomier with this news. Kinne had been a long shot to make the team as a third QB, so this change of position is an attempt to prolong his stint with the Eagles and in the NFL as a whole. Despite the offensive creativity of Kelly, it would be beyond staggering if Kinne had any fantasy appeal as a receiver. His best bet is on special teams.
