Anthony Rendon has been placed on the 10-day IL with an elbow contusion. He suffered the injury on April 20th when he was hit by a pitch. The move to the IL is retroactive to the 27th.

Vladimir Guerrero Jr has officially been called up to start in tonight's game against the Athletics. He'll get to face Mike Fiers who has been pretty atrocious so far this season with an 8.28 ERA and 1.72 WHIP.

Nick Senzel had a hit and three strikeouts in his first start for Triple-A Durham on Tuesday. He played in centerfield that night.

Gio Gonzalez and the Brewers have agreed to a one-year major league deal worth $2 million. The deal also includes $2 million in performance bonuses.
