Vince Williams Jr. continues to show promise in loss to the Timberwolves

by Joel E. Ruffin Jr. | Grizzlies Correspondent | Thu, Feb 29th 12:41pm EST

Vince Williams Jr. totaled five points (4-15 FG, 1-5 3PT, 2-2 FT), six rebounds, six assists, one steal, and one block in the Grizzlies’ 110-101 loss to the Timberwolves.

Fantasy Impact:

Williams has shown significant promise this season and has been a major piece of the team’s silver lining of a brighter tomorrow. He should continue to demonstrate his upside as the season continues. At this point, he is in a phase of his development that will challenge him to push past his ceiling if he is to take that next step toward being a major competitor in this league. Up next are the Trail Blazers, who rank 17th in opponent points, 19th in opponent rebounds, 20th in opponent assists, 27th in opponent steals, and 28th in opponent blocks. It should be business as usual for Williams in an advantageous matchup. While he may not blow the top off in this one, he should be able to produce at a competitive level and position your lineups for success.
