Jeurys Familia a top-5 closer heading into 2016

Jeurys Familia, who claimed the Mets' closer role from Jenrry Mejia in the first week of April last season, ran away with the job to become one of the top closers in baseball. He finished 2015 with 43 saves, a 1.85 ERA, 1.01 WHIP and 86Ks in 78 IP. These numbers were good enough for second in fantasy points among all closers in 2015.
Fantasy Impact:
With the Mets built to win close games in a pitcher's home stadium, and a manager not afraid to go to his closer often, Familia should again see ample save opportunities in 2016. While he technically blew three saves in the 2015 World Series, only the blown save in Game 1 was actually his fault. His World Series performance should not make any owner shy away from drafting him. Once the three elite closers (Wade Davis, Craig Kimbrel and Kenley Jansen) are off the board, Familia sits at the top of the next tier. It would not be surprising to see Familia finish as the top fantasy closer in 2016.
