Povich is likely an insurance option for the Orioles should another pitcher suffer an injury, or if they need a fresh arm in the bullpen. If he officially gets added to the roster, he would be set to make his MLB debut. The 24-year-old has a 3.18 ERA and a 1.11 WHIP in 11 starts with Triple-A Norfolk this season.
