Paul Blackburn has been placed on the 15-day IL due to a stress reaction of the fifth metatarsal of his right foot. The move is retroactive to May 11th. (Oakland A's Communications on X)
Fantasy Impact:
Blackburn struggled in his last start, allowing seven earned runs in four innings vs the Mariners, so it's possible that this injury had something to do with that. It's unclear how long Blackburn will be out for. Easton Lucas has been recalled from Triple-A.
