The Blue Jays have announced that Yariel Rodriguez will get the start Friday against San Diego. (Ben Nicholson-Smith on Twitter )

Rodriguez allowed one earned run over 3 2/3 innings pitched in his first start of the season against the Rockies. The 27-year-old has earned another start before the team has to activate Alek Manoah.
