Reid Detmers delivered a masterful performance, tossing 6 1/3 scoreless innings while allowing just three hits and two walks, striking out seven in the Angels' 7-0 victory over the Red Sox on Friday.
Fantasy Impact:
This outing further cements Detmers's status as a starting option on the rise, allowing one run or less while also registering at least seven strikeouts in each of his three starts on the mound for the Angels. The left-hander will look to continue to keep opposing batters off balance as part of a re-tooled starting rotation for Angels manager Ron Washington.
