Dustin May yet to begin throwing

Dodgers pitcher Dustin May has yet to pick up a baseball following flexor tendon repair and Tommy John revision surgery in July. (Fabian Ardaya on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Dodgers general manager Brandon Gomes told the media he is not committing to May pitching in 2024 and said the club will not rush the right-hander back by any means. It's unfortunate news for a Dodgers team thin on starting pitching following the departures of Clayton Kershaw and Lance Lynn in free agency while Kershaw is out until mid-season after undergoing shoulder surgery. May worked to a 2.63 ERA across nine starts before undergoing the knife in 2023.
