Cubs activate Miguel Montero from disabled list

The Cubs have activated catcher Miguel Montero from the 15-day disabled list and optioned outfielder Matt Szczur to Triple-A. Montero has been on the DL since July 11 with a sprained thumb. (MLB.com)
Fantasy Impact:
With Montero activated, the Cubs are carrying three catchers with Montero, David Ross and Kyle Schwarber. Montero figures to return as the primary option behind the plate with Schwarber seeing more outfield time and Ross to continue being Jon Lester's personal catcher. Montero is batting .230 with 10 home runs and 32 RBI this season.
