Matt Strahm struggles Tuesday night

by Nate Miller | Phillies Correspondent | Wed, May 3rd 10:19am EDT

Matt Strahm worked 3 1/3 innings in Tuesday's 13-1 loss to the Dodgers, allowing four runs on six hits and a walk while striking out five.

Fantasy Impact:

Strahm kept the strikeouts coming Tuesday night, but he was unable to keep the Dodgers off the scoreboard. The lefty gave up runs in three of the four innings in which he worked, raising his season ERA over a full point from 2.31 to 3.38. Strahm was limited to just 73 pitches in this outing and has not thrown more than 82 in any of his six starts. He's been quite useful for fantasy purposes despite that, but with Ranger Suarez now rehabbing in the minors, Strahm could be on his way out of the rotation and into the bullpen within the next couple of weeks. Still, he is slated to start Tuesday against the Blue Jays in Philadelphia.
