Jose Suarez tossed five scoreless innings on the mound for the Angels Sunday, allowing just two hits while also walking three and striking out six in a 3-0 win over the Brewers.
Fantasy Impact:
Suarez has struggled with consistency issues on the mound to begin the season for the Angels, allowing four or more runs in three of five starts for the club. The left-hander will need more performances on the mound like Sunday to continue to get the ball every fifth day from manager Phil Nevin, posting a 7.89 ERA and 1.98 WHIP with 18 strikeouts in five starts (1-1) on the mound so far this season.
