Fantasy Impact:
The severity of the injury wasn't clear when the Royals placed him on the IL, but now we know he is going to be out for a while. He will miss the rest of the 2023 season and could be out a good portion of 2024 as well. He ends the season with a 3.94 ERA and 9 K/9 in 16 innings.
