Keston Hiura designated for assignment

Fantasy Impact:
Hiura was recently informed he will not make the Brewers Opening Day roster and considering he is out of minor-league options he has been designated for assignment. It's a significant fall from grace for a player that hit .303 with 19 homers, nine steals, and an .838 OPS across 84 games as a 22-year-old rookie in 2019. His bat was still 15% above the league average at the plate in 2022 according to his 115 wRC+, but a massive 41.7% K-rate and .226 average capped his value. Nonetheless, it wouldn't be a surprise to see the 26-year-old latch on with a new club in short order.
