“Reynolds started 2012 slower than most, and he finished 2012 stronger than nearly everyone. Mark is now on Cleveland, a team that will depend on his power and production throughout the year, but also is notorious for having a tough ball park for righties to launch it. Still you have to like Mark in 2013 as a great sleeper that can make a difference.”
“Goldy was supposed to be a 40 HR type of hitter, instead he surprised everyone and stole nearly 20 Bases. While we want to think it is a fluke, there is no reason we will not see 10+. Paul is a good sleeper as he could explode for 30/20, but then again there are a lot of 1B options and reaching for Schmidt may not be the price of admission.”
“Goldschmidt hit the ground running in 2012. But think about this. He's still adjusting to Major League pitching, having skipped AAA. He could be ready for a big breakout.”
“Solid Gold: Led 1Bs in SB (18) and was + roto contributor in all 5 cats”
“Sure, he strikes out a lot, but he's only 23 and worst-case, he's a lock for 20 HR and 15 SB. Best case? He jumps to the next tier. ”
