“Clay will not help you with Ks. He also gets beat up more often than you would want, but his potential is a starter with an ERA under 3.00. The Red Sox deem he is healthy, and if he can stay healthy, you have a potential 20 game winner with an ERA that leaves you happy and a K rate that makes you mad.”
“Marcum looks to be a candidate for bounce back player of the year after getting injured in 2012. His ERA was still below 3.70 but we all know his potential is so much higher. The Mets will not get him wins, but he could get himself a solid 160+ Ks and a good ERA.”
