“Lawrie's first three months of production: .292 with 8 HR, 48 R, 33 RBI, and 11 SB So, you can see he was on pace to at least come close to meeting his lofty 2012 expectations. If Lawrie can stay healthy in 2013 he should become the star many think he is/will be.”
“Should be solid, if not spectacular, across the board (.280/20/80/90/20)”
“If he stays healthy, orbiting Planet Pujols will do wonders”
“Decent avg, double digit HR and SB, adn with the new lineup, Lawrie should get close to 90 R and RBI.”
“Barring an injury, which is certainly possible the way he throws his body around the field, he should see significant bumps in homers and R.B.I. in his second full season. ”
“Preparing to join the scary-good Angels lineup, the risk associated with Hamilton is well documented, but so is the reward. Even if he only managed to play 125 games, he can still put up 30 homers and drive in 100 runs. ”
“Lawrie was a disappointment in 2012. Everyone expected 20/20, he was 11/11. The Speed potential is there, the power potential is there. With Jose Reyes now batting lead-off, Lawrie can find a constant spot in the batting order. Which should let him get his feet more grounded and that 20/20 season can arrive.”
“Josh Hamilton comes into 2013 batting behind Albert Pujols and being in the best shape of his life. Take away Josh Hamilton's two month slump and he was by far the most dominating hitter in baseball. No reason to thin Hamilton will not crush 50 HRs and drive in over 140 RBIs.”
