“Alexei went the wrong way with his power last season after being a player that could potentially hit 20, only ended up with 8. What we did see from Ramirez was a surprisingly 20 SBs. This is a very similar situation to Aaron Hill a couple years ago where his speed went up and his power went down, he went on to have the best season of his career giving a healthy dosage of both power/speed.”
“Hosmer hit the Sophomore wall harder than any player in baseball could in 2012. Eric has 30/100 potential with 20 SBs, but last season was such a huge step backwards with 16 HR and a batting average under .240, that nobody wants to touch him high. Do yourself a favor and wait on Hoz who could be a stud, but then again this 1B position is deeper than any in fantasy baseball.”
