“LaRoche exploded with 33 HRs. Something we all knew he was capable of, but surprised he had that left in the tank after stringing together a few 20-25 HR seasons. The Nationals will need LaRoche to be as powerful again, but they may have made a mistake giving him a 2 year deal instead of 1. Still draft him as if you are getting 25 HR/90 RBI and only hope for more.”
“J.P. is a very underrated catcher coming into 2013 thanks to an injury that knocked him out of baseball for 2.5 months. J.P. has huge pop and is an easy candidate to hit 25+ HRs. His batting average does come with some downside, but already he is showing improvement as a player that can easily reach .250 any season now.”
